I have noticed people are afraid to speak their mind, I guess its cause they dont want to hurt feelings or they just dont have the balls to be honest. So they become passive aggressive and even hateful. Why not say whats on your mind? Whats the worst that can happen?

I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings PLUS I don't want to get trampled to death on here either.
I usually don't respond on many posts because someone will usually say what I am thinking anyway, and sometimes people are hateful and cruel with their answers and opinions. Not always, but many times.
Personally, if I wanted to get yelled at for having an opinion or talked to like I was an idiot for HAVING an opinion, I would have stayed with my husband.
So, why am I on here? Because I do learn things and not everyone is cruel. I'm new on here and still trying to learn all the players.

Well...it's a difference in speaking the truth and being honest....it's not necessarily one in the same.....some people are very honest but will say some of the dumbest sh-t I've ever heard, and in turn making themselves look like complete asses.....you can speak truth and be respectful and honest all at the same time...but it's an acquired skill that some just don't have.

Yeah tell me about it, I'd say 70% of people's profiles are all lies, I can't believe how many "fun loving" profiles I see.
I can't believe how many people try to "sell" themselves by taking off their shirt or wearing skimpy clothes to "impress" potential mates, all it shows is egoism. People need to be realistic and show who they REALLY are.
People should be more honest about themselves, a person may think an aspect of them self is bad, and another might see it as a good thing.

I think alot of people have excuses to why they dont want to be honest or why they cant handle the truth. Isnt it better to know what is really going on instead of finding out later you were lied to? And really what is the worst that can happen if you are honest? OOOOO someone gets a lil mad or doesnt want to talk to you. Screw em. If you cant take a look at yourself and see the good and bad, then how can you love yourself or anyone else for that matter.

yea these "fun-loving" profiles make me laugh. come on, fun loving? wow.... they're so generic: "i am happy and energetic and i love life! i run around outside and am happy with my life even though i really am not! oh, and i am FUN TO BE AROUND TOO!" ... how can you say that you are fun to be around when you're you? meh... i dont know. people need to be honest and stop lying about every little detail - are people not proud to be themselves anymore?

They learn tact and diplomacy as opposed to blurting out stupid shit.
Sometime being honest is self destructive and keeping your mouth shut isn't about being afraid.
For instance
