Why dont everyone believe in God? He has done more for me since He saved me 10-26-08 then i could have ever of dreamed of. The one thing that he has done for me that means the most, except for filling me and saving me, is bring my family back to me. We split up the end of sept. with no hopes of ever fixing things. She called me last night crying telling me sorry for what she did to me. I have been praying her endlessly, well God is great and he works in ways we will never understand, All glory to Jesus Christ.

Because people want to be in control of their own life. 
By admitting a Creator, they have to admit there is someone over them that they are accountable to. People do not like to be told that they will be held accountable!
People without the spirit to "open their eyes" are blinded to this truth...like you were until recently!!!! 
Continue to READ THE WORD!!! That is like water and fertilizer to the seed that has now been planted within you!!!

Well little brother, not everyone believes in a deity; And if they do, they do not believe in God as you or other God believing people do.

We all have a choice. To believe or not to. Even when Jesus walked the earth and preached the gospel many did not believe him. Jesus the Son of God. COme on now, if you can't believe him then you can't trust anyone. He is the rock of our salvation. the hope to come. Jesus is Lord. Amen!

I didn't have the free will...... God grabbed me by the throat ( literally )
and snatched me up.
God still does what he wants sometimes and doesn't really give you a choice.
I'd go deeper into that, but i've been ridiculed many times here for telling my story.
I guess that part of scripture isn't a fairy tale like most on here say it is.
But to answer the question... In Gods time.

if it works for you then i'm happy for you. can't answer for everyone as you ask but i don't believe in god because as as agnostic i don't think the human mind is capable of knowing of gods, the afterlife and other supernatural phenomena.

Why DOESN'T everyone do what?
I thought at first this was a joke then I relized this guy has been "saved" for almost 2 months...shit man, I have left-overs in the fridge older than that!
If we say god saved us or changed us or made us decent human beings we don't have to explain why we were such losers in the first place. Chances are you put yourself in that position, so take credit for straightening out the mess you created in the first place.
My advice: Don't be so quick to trust
