Hi Dance-
I think you did the right thing. If he can't respect your decision to not have him spend the night, odds are, he's not going to respect you in other ways in the relationship.
Anyone have any thoughts on what exactly you do (logistically) to meet someone the first time when it is a long distance thing? Meet half way? What? How can you meet but still be safe?
