I hate being " protected" from the truth but there are times that a lie is in order to avoid hurting someone. If the truth is honestly to help the person.. than the risk of hurting their feelings would not outweigh the need to be honest. But if the truth will make no difference to that person but only would end up hurting them.. than let the truth be suspended

Being straight up front with people is a good thing but at times the truth hurts but to lie about something and as the lie catches up to you later will hurt more then being straight up front.

Yes, So I try to say things as gently as possible. I'm not going to lie to you or to myself. That's why I will be the first to say...Yep, I've done it!
How can you possibly expect someone to belive that we've never lied? How can you say, Oh, That's something I'd never do? I can't and won't say that cause...It would be lying.

Peaches you are a very beautiful and very smart woman and by all the words you have written down you have alot of wisdom and most important you have a very good and big heart, an whoever gets to be your boyfriend will be a very lucky guy. yes but being online should give you the power to not lie...no-one can see you or attack you etc..im always straight across the board..no bullshit..no time for it-lie to me once-im done,gone,peace.good luck..if you accept one lie..it continues....and you never really trust that person again-in the back of your mind-you will always ask yourself..was that the truth???
