Sooner or later the truth comes outta people, for example,
I talked with this one girl,
and she said everything I wanted to hear,she was perfect.
Talked to her 27 hours straight.
She asked me for money then, and within minutes,
I knew it was from Nigerian Scamfields.

A lie can indeed hurt alot more than the truth.. but if the truth has no merit and would only hurt that person.. than must you still be brutally honest? If my son came to me with a nose ring ( thank Gawd he doesn't!!!!!) and asked me how I liked it? If he was thrilled with it, than I would say it looks great too. Would my being truthful and say he looked like native from a tarzan movie been a benefit to him? Of course not.
