I see that alot but mostly the women pass away and then a week or two later their husband would pass away.i would pick up the equipment at thier houses and they would not know what to do.they would cry and it took everything i could do not to cry with them listen to their stories they would tell about there spouses would bring a smile to their faces but when i had to leave i could see the tears again.I deliver medical equipment to the homes man sometimes its hard.

ahhhhhhhhhhh yes that wonderful unconditional love. . . i have set back and people watched waiting to see how that would go, so when id see an old couple holding hands, her putting her head on his shoulder, as he would hers.... id say to myself hmmmmm now that is soooo sweet... then id go back and see a couple in a disagreement but it was differnt, they were actually talking and listining to one another... "no arguing" so i went back to this park and agian set back and watched yet another couple, id have to say they were around 50ish sitting on a blanket legs over legs face to face gazing into one anothers eyes and i could hear her say... honey? he says yes dear, she says why are you crying??? he says because i love you and i never knew how much u meant to me till right now,.. just this moment... when i gazed into ur eyes i realized that after all i have put u through...ALL THE PAIN I HAVE CAUSED YOU,.. YOU CHOSE TO STILL.... LIKE U VOWED... LOVE ME, "UNCONDITIONALLY" "YOU DO REALLY TRUELY LOVE ME UNCONDITIONALY" SHE LOOKS HIM IN THE EYES AND SAID YES WELL OF COURSE ... AFTER ALL UNCONDITIONALLY MEANS, THROUGH ANY AND EVERYTHING, ALWAYS AND FOREVER, NO MATTER WHAT.... AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE U MY DARLING UNCONDITIONALLY............... THEN AFTER HEARING THIS AND AFTER ALL THE WATCHING.... I SAID TO MYSELF HMMMMMM THIS IS WHAT I WANT, THIS IS WHAT I CRAVE AND I WILL GET THIS I KNOW I WILL SOMEDAY, IF I WAIT AND WATCH AND LOOK AND SEE AND HEAR AND BE PATIENT I WILL GET THIS..... AND IM SO GLAD I DID I WAITED AND WAS AS PATIENT AS I COULD BE AND NOW I THINK I HAVE IT, IN MY SWEET WONDERFUL EDZZ,... HE AND I ARE SO MUCH ALIKE AND CONNECT ON A LEVEL THAT I HAVE NEVER KNOWN TO BE EVEN POSSIBLE... SO EDZZ "WE GOT THIS BABE" NO EFFORT NEEDED. WE WILL BE YOUR PARENTS I JUST KNOW IT.......

My parents had that kind of love.... My dad passed away 15 years ago and my mom never remarried... she just loved him so much, no one else could even come close....

damn angel you gonna break alot of guys hearts when they read this thread cograts this is what i say their is someone out their for everybody might not be in your town and maybe in this country but their someone out thier you ladies are very beautiful and know what you want you will all find that special person.i know i'm not giving up.

My parents had that kind of love, and in my entire life I cannot recall ever hearing them have a fight. Unfortunately my father passed away back in 86 and my mom will be joining him any day now. I was lucky enough to have that with my ex wife, and NO, I am nod devorced. Lost her years ago when a drunk ran a red light. So many of my friends think it is strange that I have not remarried, but after experiencing that kind of love, I will never settle for anything less. Have dated a lot of women since then, but it seems that people (both men and women) these days do not honestly commit to there spouse. And when troubles arise, instead of working thru them, they discard there mate and go looking for someone new.

i have another story i would like to share i delivered a lift chair to this lady a lift chair is a recliner with motors.i wasn't feeling real well had a cold.i set the lift chair up and was getting the paper work signed.she said "i made a fresh pot of home made chicken and noodle soup would you like to have lunch with me".she talked me into haveing lunch and while we were eating she told me her husband just passed away.well she kept talking about her husband and had the biggest smile on her face the things they did together and also talking about him like he was was there.i did not ask her she said i bet you are wondering why i talk about him i didn't answer her cause really did not know what to say.she said "my husband is watching over me and when it's my time to go he is going to meet me and we are going to walk and hold hands when we walk thru the golden gates in heaven".i ate my soup she gave a piece of homemade cake and the coldest glass of milk when i left i didn't even think about my cold i feltsooo much better.

It seems like the majority of people our parents ages had a
different attitude toward relationships. Many would work at
the relationship because they were committed. Yes, some stayed
out of necessity or obligation.
For the type of love that angel and others spoke about, it requires
giving of yourself totally to the other. Giving greater than oneself,
if both partners are equal in what they give, most of their needs will
have been satisfied. In giving, open communication, sharing thoughts,
concerns with one another is critical. Acceptance of each other, and
your differences is equally important. It is okay to have differences,
just need to respect them, Over the long haul...a relationship needs
to be nurtured..like a plant, grown, cared for..a couple needs to be
in tune to the needs of their partner, and share the same core values.
What is called unconditional love...probably should be retitled as
enduring and complete love...being absorbed in the essence of one another.
Sunshine and Panama...eventually what you are searching for will come to you.
As for a long time I thought it was elusive, and when I wasn't looking,
it was staring me in the face..Good Luck to all
