it does'nt happen like that any more, these days its to easy to get a divorce, the first sign of trouble, everyone is looking for a way out, why ????, be like her parents, be strong, stick with each other through the bad times as well as the good, ... congrats, to your parents, wish them many more years of health/happiness together.

There are many that I love unconditionally. There are some that I can't stand at the moment but will always love them unconditionally. Love is not something that is given out by me on a whim and it is not taken away on a whim either. There are days when I may not like someone very much but will always love them.

If you want unconditional love, First, you must realize you must be able to give unconditional love. what does that entail? it requires you to not give up, fight for the good of the relationship, make sacrifices, and realize that it is GOING to be hard. However, the rewards are so much greater than the risk. All true love is. None of this "your too much of this or that" after six months of a relationship.
Daydreaming will not bring you this love. You will bring yourself this love. Fight for it and be willing to die for it. Men and women alike. Love is never one sided, otherwise, it is not love. I hope this helps some. Good luck to you in your endevor.

I currently in the middle of getting divorced. I never thought it would happen to me. But when your wife has male friends over the house, while you are sleeping, then there is a problem. Even if she did say they were only friends. What happened to the word respect

That is why unconditional love is so hard to have for someone. Its easy to say forget that $(#*% because they don't love me the way I want to be loved.
It is very painful when this happens but you can't just turn it off like it never existed. There are people that will always have a special place in my heart but it still hurts. As time goes by it will get easier but that genuine love will always be there!
