tough one repo.. sorry you're having to make this one. I dislike the cold very much too. something in my bones. Family does attract you with all the relatives, but as long as your son knows who family is.. he has friends to play with where ever you land. Gotta do what's best for you.

i moved away from family in 1980. a younger brother followed me about 10 years ago out here. I'm 500 miles away from most of them, and not that tough to drive over for a weekend. and most of the time, i'm thankful that i've spent most of my adult life away.

who knows, after the kids get settled, might move back over and build me a little house, raise some horses & cows again.

See I think about that too!! I want my son to learn how to ride horses and have those advantages in his childhood. My mom has 2. She is saving her gelding because she wants to use him to teach my son to ride....Picture a 3-4 year old on a 16 hand tall horse....LMAO Anyways, if I went back that would be another advantage...Maybe I could get a social life, too....I would have baby-sitters!!

LOL Did you just make up your mind?

As far as baby sitters go, I am my best friend's babysitter, and that makes it hard to have a girls night. (her husband can't always watch the kids for girls night because he might have to be up at 4am to go to work...)

ok, so you have support, family, things for your song to learn, babysitters, and peace of mind if you move. What if you don't?

Oh yea, and snowmen, sledding, and all those winter sports for your son to play with.

Repo
I am at that point
but i am with my daughter
its really hard on me and finding a job is just as hard
I enjoy being with them and i am keeping the grandkids to help them out
but there is nothing like having your own place and getting your life back
to order.
Just follow your heart and do whats best for you and your children then
get back on you own from there.
Best Wishes to YOU and your family and Good Luck
