Cuddleme, in my last relationship that lasted 9 1/2 yrs, I went to see my family twice. I was so "into" him, family didn't matter. Boy, (or gal, in your case) was I WRONG!!! I shut my family out, thank God they didn't shut me out. Long story short, things went bad, I now live with my sister. Don't EVER choose anyone over family. They're the only ones there when it comes down "to it." Take care.

Cuddleme, I knew it was a guy you were talking about. I think you may have taken one of my sentences out of context!! That's been bothering me today, I didn't want you to think I was being rude. (or an ass!!) Take care and good luck in the future!

I will tell you I still care very much for my I quess exboyfriend now , we both have kids , and jobs ,and family that keeps us busy we had little time left over for each other and even tho we were in the same state it began to fill like we were in different countries... We have decide to take a break and lucky me he has give me the ok to start dating other people ( not that I needed his permission ) but I think he realizes im not going to sit around and wait for him to find the time . We may fine that a break is what we need to realize what we really had , or we may find a break will be the final curtain... Either way for now we remain friends , still talk on the phone everyday , still chat online ,, but honestly I not going to wait around for a man forever ...

nj if he really cares for you then he will find the time to be with you but on the other hand life is too short to just let it pass you by! get out there and find that special person he is out there somewhere you just have to find him

This is a question, most of us have to consider when we sign on. How far am I willing to travel to meet someone, and am I willing to relocate for the *right* person.
I, personally would not want to leave my area as I have business interests, and long time roots...I make that know from the start.
I am sorry you have a loss today, but I am happy that you enjoyed the creative part of romance for a period of time....it is a stepping stone for the future.
