I believe in multiple intelligences. I have also known people that have near perfect grammar and spelling, yet don't know much else. After all that, yes, if it's extreme, I wonder if english is their first language and try my best to understand them if it's not. I am very avid about criticing anyones spelling and grammar and the only reason I do that is because I have worked within the business world for so many years that its just second nature for me to make sure everything is correct. If you have to present something to a boss or its going to be seen in public you want the spelling and grammar to be correct because that is "putting your best face forward". When I misspell on here, its usually because I am typing to fast. Although that does not mean a person is smart, stupid, crude or not intellectual it simply gives you an insight into their personality. Are they ambitious enough to write a good profile.
