Super, for many months now Ive dated, and to tell the truth, I have no Idea......
heck I don't know what THE ONE, is other then a word.....And thats all....
We really have a clue, what THE ONE is, until our souls fine each others......
I believe that we put each others hopes and dreams out to be taken for granted....
But its fate that brings two persons together as one.......

TRU you hit the nail on the head on all counts...when you are older you
know what it is you want...you know you met the one..when the emotions
hit you like a ton of bricks...and yes a decision comes into play..
you can over analyse it and lose out on a good thing...or take it for
what it is...tru you are right...sometimes it just is.
I almost blew it...cause everything seemed to good to be true and that it
came rather quickly...to fast, so I questioned it...despite that we actually
connected on all levels...core beliefs and every little other thing.. it
was uncanny...everything I desired in a women was in front of me...and I
almost blew it because I couldn't believe that what seemed so perfect could
be real....Thank God I woke up and simply just went with the flow.. there
is no science, rhyme nor reason...you will know it cause it hits you hard..
just learn to accept it for simply what it is....It just Is...

I don't know.....I'm beginning to think it might take years before you finally realize that they are the "One". The comfortable silences,the conversations that aren't spoken aloud, the fact that you inherently know the other's needs......

I think the "ONE" can be something different at the different stages of your life. Sometimes the "ONE" evolves with you in a relationship and sometimes it don't. I look back and wonder what the hell I was thinking at my ex's, but at that time I thought they were the "ONE". I am hoping that I have found the "ONE" now. I guess you have to keep your heart and your mind open to really let them be the "ONE". If you don't give someone the chance to be your "ONE" you could miss out on a lot.JMO

There is no " list" that you can go down and checkmark to know if they are the ONE. If it was as simple, we would all be with that ONE. It is useless to try to analyze who that ONE might be . Much in life is not black and white but in many splendid colors. Our grandparents did not analyze such things. They just knew it when it happened. That has not changed. We have just made love alot more complicated than it needs to be.. because.. sometimes.. IT JUST IS!

Ok, I agree with most of what has been said but I disagree sorta with the list thing. I mean if the ONE for you is 'nice' and 'funny'.........along with not being a 'hateful person' or 'an abuser' then you have just ran them by your checklist. You may not have it physically written down, but there are things we all are looking for in our significat other.....and there are definately things that we will not tolerate. Now, just because someone meets all the criteria on the list doesn't mean that they are IT for you, but the ONE that is for you does really need to meet certain criteria in my opinion.
