yea it is difficult, mine were always in sports. Weekend were my time but I never went out while they were young. Now they are grown and I am finding it hard to feel the empty time.

Being a single parent for me is the best thing that ever happened. sounds Nuts but true. I didnt get custody of my youngest daughter until 7-years ago, she is 18 now. I remember those long rides to pick them up on weekends. I remember thier mother pulling the old" she is having a hard time adjusting when she comes home " trick. I remember my kids crying when she didnt let them go with me for visitation . I remember all that stuff. I am happy. I know my daughter is happier too. I give her a good adault male role model learn from. Do I date...once in a while. Both my girls want me to date. But as I grow older I realize that dating isnt everything . Its part of the balance. But I am not perfect. I make mistakes . But I do my best and date when I can.

I get what you are saying...Sometimes if you let the guy know right away..that you are not looking for someone to step in and become the male role model, it may take some pressure off him and he will know whats expected off him..just my opinion. I know that as a guy who does date every now and then I like the women to let me know up front what she wants in a relationship. I dont want to waist her time and mine. By the way you are a stunning women.
