Hello everyone... well it seems that all things come to an end and this is no different... I have met a couple of ladies here and am glad to have known them but at this time it is time to say goodbye to DH. I am kind, considerate fellow and am finding more and more women in the dating world today are not as kind and considerate. I think it is time to just pull back and take myself out of the "game" as it were... Ladies just a alittle advise for what it is worth NOT every guy you meet is your ex not every guy you meet is looking for 1 thing and above all EVERY guy you meet does have feelings and a heart that can be broken just like you... I hear all the time women asking where all the "good" guys have gone.... well I am one of the few left and I will tell you that we become fewer on a daily basis because we are tired of being the whipping boys for what every jerk you ever dated has done wrong to you in your past. With that I will bid you all good luck and even better searching and god willing you will find exactly who is right for you........

bill i'm sorry things didn't work out for you . . . but i've become convinced lately that there are no good guys and no bad guys (most of the time) it's just that people are not in the same place or on the same page when they meet . . . people want different things and it takes a lot of trial and error to find the ONE . . . at least, i'm still hoping, i got my heart broken again last night, just when i thought things were going so well . . . but i'm thankful that he at least was honest about how he was feeling . . . anyway, i know how you feel, but maybe you'll stay for the forums - that's all i'm here for . . . i stopped expecting anything more!

sorry bill but im with crafty on this one.you're saying givin up and all women are the same.well,you have to go through a lot of coal to find any diamonds.i take a break once in a while to just get away from it all.maybe thats all you need.good luck.

Have to say it... I'm with the posters above.. sounds like you're doing some assuming yourself by giving up... sure there are bad ones out there... but with that mentality...you're sure not going to find one...don't mean to be nasty...I feel for you...been there and done that...but I refuse to give up because of a couple losers...JMO...Good luck in whatever you do...

Thanks for that friend. Don't leave though, honestly, we need all the 'nice guys' here to fight for our side. What u say here can explain a LOT of where all the 'once nice guys, now jerks' came from
Ladies, don't take this personally, just read what he says, and do some inner reflection to see that a LOT of you DO hold it against every guy, no matter WHO that guy is.

Patty your post REALLY hits home for me... and I hope you know why.. I hope that you'll read my other post and relay my thoughts.. PLEASE.. anyway I am not assuming all women I am just saying that from MY experience all the women(except 1 special 1 that I messed up) that I have met treat guys all the same... and this is why I should stop talking to women like that because all they see is themselves and noone else... sorry I just don't understand why my post means I am generalizing all women when I am not.

it's a two way street, y'know? men do the same damn thing - i'm not a gold digger, and just because i'm attractive and independent does not make me a B*TCH! people decide that without even speaking to me, and you know what, it's their loss - i've stopped trying to figure people out and generalizing is only going to close more doors for all of us - just accept people for who they are, eh?????
