A nice body or a beautiful face, to me anyway are just added perk's, it's the real person that searches into the mind, heart, and soul to reveal what really lie's inside... Yeah.....but the figure last longer if you take care of your body........I see 40/50 year old women all the time in the gym who have 30 yr old bodies........as a matter of fact, they have better figures that most of the younger 20 somethings.

i love guys on here that say very directly they want a HOT BODY on a woman and a pretty face, altho the inside is just as important, and then i look at who's posting the answers and their pics and think ok, u DONT look like u have a HOT BODY yourself...so why would u be so demanding??...dont u think if i was requesting the same thing so bluntly and directly, i would at least have the audacity to look pretty hot myself??....  i dont know, that part just cracks me up!

Of course they want a good body, and if they denie it they'd be lieing. However a good bit of the men can make exceptions to this rule. Those are the ones that are hard to find.

The face is much more important. The body will fade overtime. Most women are not able to keep the weight off as they age and even if they do, gravity takes over. It's just a fact of life. You can always care for your face and keep it pretty. The body, unfortunately ladies, you won't be able ti win that battle without cosmetic surgery.

I can't speak for most men.. but let's face it...everyones bodies will change and get old with time. Someones eyes and smile will not change. For when the rest has become not as great the eyes and smile will still speak of what is really there.

I would say I look for both but I care more about how the person is rather then looks. The person could be a knock out and be a stuck up. I look for the whole person out look not just looks.

I met a man online...I received his picture, but he was totally opposite to what I normally am attracted to & quite ordinary, but you know what, when you start getting to know someone, you realize that it really is the person that counts cause 7 years later we are the best of friends & I care about him very much (if we lived in the same part of the world it could be different, but...). So yes, we are firstly attracted to something physical whether it's face or body, but it's much deeper than that. For men, it is just a known fact that it is what they see that first attracts them or not. It's those men who takes the time to get to know & appreciate a woman beyond their looks that are the ones we need to meet ladies!! Take care...

what man wouldnt want both, but my idea of beauty is different from the next guy. for me a softer spoken woman with a shy smile does it for me every time. pretty eyes is a plus, i guess a pretty face would be my choice, but again my idea of pretty could be different from others.

physical attraction is a natural part of the selection process. it's as much a part of evolution as it is spirituality. once we become attracted to the physical aspects of a person, we are then drawn in to their personality and their character traits. it all ties in together, whether we like it or not! it is absolutely NOT shallow to be attracted to someone by their physicality first. personally, i prefer TALL men and i would NEVER EVER date a man who was my height or shorter than me. it is a preference that i have and that is a deal breaker for me. i want to look UP at a guy, not look DOWN or eye-to-eye at him. i've tried that in the past, and it just never worked out. and just as i have a preference for TALLER men, some men may have a preference for THINNER women. i myself am thin, but even if i was a "BBW", i would understand a man's position on this and would respect it.
we all have our physical preferences....but, we ALL know that, in the end...what REALLY matters is the HEART and SOUL of a person ...because we ALL know that, as the years pass by...the outer beauty fades...but the inner beauty is everlasting. only older and mature people will realize this. my opinion only and i hope i don't anger or offend anyone with my honesty.

Well, I for one want more than just another pretty boy with great abs. I'm looking for a real man and when I look in his eyes and see that...that's what turns me on! Now, don't get me wrong....500lbs is just lazy and I don't want lazy. Of course, looking first at the outer beauty and not making a real effort to see beyond that is lazy too.

See it's a case by case basis. You = gorgeous. Put on a ton of weight it doesn't matter. Get muscular, skinny, firm, pregnant, whatever you want. Facial scarring, tattoos, it wouldn't make any difference. You've just got a look that sequesters affection, the power to give unbelievable joy (to the right person) or cause depression (if picking the wrong person in front of them).
So it doesn't matter. Some people are just tremendously attractive no matter what. Perhaps it's something in the eyes. A bit of youth they still have. At the moment you're pretty, cute and a babe all at once. I won't go where sexy leads because I've got at least some self discipline regarding vulnerability.
Now don't rush off to take your clothes off for magazine covers. Cynicism could change you.

OK! I can be shallow. A pretty face is always nice to look at, especially during foreplay and all. A nice body is greater to touch when the lights are out and a guy can use his imagination as to who he's doing - Cheryl Tiegs, Christy Brinkley, Martha Stewart, etc. If she possesses both, a lights on engagement into the finer arts of sex is best. Turns me on thinking about some wonderful experiences here.
