So then why am I expected to always jump the gun in meeting and trusting people?
Yeah yeah I know you need to meet to see if chemistry is there and its a big waste of time to get to know someone if it isnt going to go any further or whatever, but what happened to good old just getting to know people? Is it such a waste of time to come across and converse with good people if there is a possibility you may never meet them in person? I mean we do it on here all day long. Im never gonna meet half of you but I am greateful for you because your personalities and words brighten my day and make me laugh. Over all you have contributed good things into my life and I wouldnt trade them. I have benefited from talking with you guys and it is not a waste of time for me.
So if my company is considered a waste of time if the outcome may not be meeting for a while, should I even bother? My company is only good if you are going to ultimately get what you seek? It is no good otherwise?
Yes I am one of the people who dont rush out and date everyone who asks me. I prefer to know someone and in doing that it takes time. If at the meeting point if no chemistry didnt we gain good conversation? Isnt that good for something anymore?

Resign yourself to this simple truth:
You will only ever have the opportunity to really know one person, you. Outside of that, know that what you know of another person will only be what that person allows you to see.
Instead of worrying about how much you know about the person you are interested in, worry about whether the person is someone who you can love and care for for exactly who they are, flaws and all.

Exactly and I wait to find the one who can stick around and find me valuable enough to wait. If they move on to the one who they will have quicker chance of f**king, they are not for me. Im allowed to be particular in what kind of man I want.

I can for sure respect peoples flaws even embrace them. The one flaw I wont accept is disrespect to me. I shouldnt have to. I give the person I am in a relationship with utmost respect and I would like the same.

I hope so because I'm on the verge of that right now.
After weeks of emails and phone calls it will certainly be a great loss if a lack of chemistry ruins a perfectly good friendship.
And when we meet for the first time I hope the groundwork that's already established counts for something.
I think that's the beauty of being friends first, particularly if no romantic expectations are there in the beginning.

Yes romantic expectations add so much pressure. Its like if just meeting as friends, hey little pressure but if you know like every move you make any hair out of place is going to be judged, the phermones you set off etc etc.... it becomes a bit overwhelming.

Two weeks on the Ocean in a sailboat placing your life in their hands and holding thier life in yours. No Television, Internet or text messages. Trust me, if both of you come back (alive) talking to each other, liking each other and wanting to bump ugly, not only do you know them and them you, but you are right for each other.
In the alternative
