LOL Well this sure turned into a laugh. XXX (Hell no I won't call her gypsy, with my luck someone will confuse this clown with me LOL) obviously has no clue as to what the overall impact of the overwhelming influx of ILLEGAL immigrants has done to damage the country overall. Sure, if we were talking about LEGAL immigrants I might be able to agree with most of what she says (although I laughed out loud at the comments about Canadians being any less racist or resentful of illegals than Americans, because we have all see far too many say differently). I honestly believe that this could just be another fake profile by one of those like haha or Paul, or that she really hasn't done much to educate herself on the subject before deciding to pop off. Anyone who calls this a racial issue is only showing their ignorance of the truth of the matter, and is just another loser playing the race card where it is in no way applicable.

Sorry, not a fake profile.....its real. And your insults on my intelligence is laughable!!!! Let me dumb it down for you!!! The word illegal attached to people wanting to live in another country because they are so poor they can barely eat is a joke. The govt attaches the word "illegal" to it because they want to line their pockets for their trips to the caribbean and their liquid lunches, lol.
There are haters in every country, Ive lived in a couple of countries and have seen first hand the differences and sameness. And I do know a bit about the immigration process......I was married to an american and lived there.
What it comes down to is $$$$$$, just to be able to work in the usa costs the average "immigrant" $1000s of dollars. Citizenship? more $$$$....ya didnt think you cared. What I see is close mindedness and intolerance of others. What is even more scary is the american dollar is going down and when I see your face on my border crossing wanting to come in....should I kick you out as well because you dont have the money to pay to be "legal???

Actually immigrating to Canada is far harder than it is to the US. And they take a tough approach on illegal immigration in the same way Europe does. They catch you there illegally, they deport you, no questions asked. Why should America be any different?

I actually don't find Canada to be racist at all. I live in the Seattle area, and have spent ALOT of time in the Victoria and Vancouver area. And to be honest I absolutely love the people up there. They are so accepting and laid back, very fun to be around. I also agree with the way their country is run politically in many many ways.
I was merely stating that Canada has a very tough stance on illegal immigration, just like European countries do, so why should the US be any different?
I do not believe that being against illegal immigration is a racist mindset. If someone wants to come to this country, then they should immigrate properly. We treat illegal immigrants far better than Mexico does, and our immigration laws are some of the most liberal in the world.

huckleberry, our immigration laws are liberal but the wait can be up to 8 or 9 years for those trying to take the legal route. during that time they are still illegal.

Then I'm sorry, if they're illegal, then they should not be here. If you look at the immigration laws of other nations, including Mexico's, they are a heck of alot tougher on illegals than we are.
Do I think immigration is a good thing? Heck yes I do, if someone wants to come to our country, and they can make a positive contribution to our society, I am all for them coming here to make a better life for themselves. But they need to do it legally. It's pretty hard for me to believe that someone is going to be a law abiding citizen of the United States when they start their journey here by commiting a crime.
That being said, I wouldn't mind the immigration process taking alot less time to get through. I'm not racist in any way shape or form, this country was founded by immigrants, they are part of what makes this country so great.
They just need to come here legally.

XXX “The word illegal attached to people wanting to live in another country because they are so poor they can barely eat is a joke.”
We don’t “attach” that word to them, only the people who break the law by illegally enter the country, keep it straight now.
“The govt attaches the word "illegal" to it because they want to line their pockets for their trips to the caribbean and their liquid lunches, lol.”
LOL AGAIN, no, because they have broken the law and entered the country illegally.
“There are haters in every country, Ive lived in a couple of countries and have seen first hand the differences and sameness.”
As have I. Decided to NEVER cross the northern border again after a few years of it.
“ And I do know a bit about the immigration process......I was married to an american and lived there.”
LOL Well, I just went to another country LEGALLY for a job, not a marriage.
“"immigrant"”
Was curious as to why you put it into quotes like that. And what the hell does the cost have to do with anything? Yes, after paying for everything to have the LEGAL right to work in the other country, I am aware it is expensive, but what is the point here? That if you want something you can’t afford you should just be allowed to steal it?
“and when I see your face on my border crossing wanting to come in....should I kick you out as well because you dont have the money to pay to be "legal???”
RFLMFAO As if that would ever happen, and if you want to talk about money, why not talk to your own about how shady they are, and see about getting the money they still owe me?
Huckleberry “They are so accepting and laid back, very fun to be around.”
Wow, living with them for a few years I sure didn’t see much of that, unless you call laid back the same as being lazy. THAT I saw a lot of.
“I also agree with the way their country is run politically in many many ways.”
I don’t know. Sure had me scratching my head when a married woman had an affair, got pregnant, and had the kid before the divorce was final, so her husband was stuck paying child support for her lover’s kid. I think some of the laws up there are fairly bizarre.
“I was merely stating that Canada has a very tough stance on illegal immigration, just like European countries do, so why should the US be any different?”
Same old same old. Everybody else EXPECTS handouts from us in every way.
China “the wait can be up to 8 or 9 years for those trying to take the legal route. during that time they are still illegal.”
That just means they have to be patient, same as a person desperate for a divorce here has to wait the time period before it can be finalized. Just the way things are. I don’t see this as a legitimate reason to break the law. I also think that if they are serious about wanting to become American citizens, and they have that long to wait, plenty of time to get ready for it, by learning English etc, so why don’t they? They know they will need it when they get here.

Illegal immigration would not exist if it was not for the business that hired these people. Illegal's are very cheat labor. The Unions have raise American salaries to a level that companies are using too much of their capital for salaries. The companies have gotten with crooked polititions to make it attractive for the illegals to want to come and stay in this country,i.e. free medical, free education for the kids, free social services. A person will not stay in a place where the living enviornment is uncomfortable, so the govt and companies have made it very attrative for the illegals to keep coming here. The govt does not care about the American citizen because we cost them too much money to pay our salaries. There talk is against illegals but govt action reflects how they are really encouraging the illegals to continue to come to this country.

Didn't our forefathers enter this country illegally at first. No one gave them a written invitation to cross the waters to America. They came here illegally. It wasn't untill there were so many of them, did America make them citizens. Sounds familar to today, doesn't it???

That is true. The European settlers merely bullied control of this country and killed most of it's inhabitants and marginalised the rest. I would hardly call such behaviour worthy of claiming "legal" soveriegnty.
