No I have not let myself go at all, in fact, my body looks better than ever. The problem is I wonder why I bother. The men I have met over 40 are really out of shape and if they do look good they still try for young girls. So, join the club!

I personally think that all women are beautiful. Some are more beautiful than others, but they are all beautiful and should be treated with respect. I wanted to let the person know who started this topic that you spelled "ladys" incorrectly. It is spelled ladies. Also, it is themselves, not "themself". You also omitted the question mark at the end of your question. My point is, stop trying to be a fault finder and concentrate on improving your own quality of life. You may just find someone special if you adhere to that advice. Be nice to someone today !

I'm a salesman. Just an observation from the many cities I,ve been in. It seems some cities are more prone to letting themselves go than others. Not sure why. Could it be competition?

Many of us look better than we did in our 20's. You just want PERKY barbies. . I am real and the laugh lines that are there came from years of lauging and loving my girls.

Well I try not to let myself go at times but I have them days where I just don't give a f#&* and then I'm back to reality I look at it this way if a woman really wants me and is willing to give it a go then what I look like shouldn't matter as long as she sees potential on the other hand I could get all groomed up but then I would be trying to be someone I'm not I like me and love me for who I am and I can except me for who I am today back in my past I hated me for who I was and wanted to just off myself now I live one day at a time and I have learned to try to keep it simple one day at a time Just for today !!! Except me for who I am today for I have come a longway

At 47 I could care less about competition. And kudos to all those who have lost weight, including husbands and lousy boyfriends. As for me I have always been full-figured and I exercise to keep what I have "in-check". But that is for my benefit and not to impress you.  Pick up a book or take a remedial course and learn how to spell and use basic English and come back to the REAL world, you might find there are very beautiful women all around you. And the only thing "bad" about our lives is there are too many men out there who are like YOU!!
