Soprano - Great post!

1. It's not what happens in life, but how you deal with each situation.
2. At 25 I had an opportunity to be transferred to another state with my job. Not easy coming from a culture that values women only if they marry and have children. It was the best decision I could have made and I learned a great deal as a result. I would absolutely make the same decision.
3. I'm probably out once or twice during the week, usually with friends. It maybe drinks/dinner or possibly walking or biking, depending on the weather.

1. It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.

2. The proverbial 'fork in the road'. In retrospect, I could have taken any number of roads, but I took this one, and am ever so glad for the experience, no regrets. I'm not saying I haven't made my share of mistakes, just that I learned from them and will try not to repeat them. I'm looking for my next fork. I trust that I will make the right decision.

3. I have friends that I play with occasionally. Sometimes it includes a bottle of the very best scotch. Working 7 days a week for the last several years hasn't allowed me too much FO time. Take that as a warning Tru, depending on what kind of business you're going into.

If I may....
1. most important lesson....to be myself, people accept you or reject you, and you will not change their minds....so only in being yourself are you worthy of those that do accept you.
2. fork in the road.....divorce....as we are not given a blueprint for life, had come to a place of very limited expectations and accepted same....realized we both had actually missed out on a lot of life because we did do it much sooner.
3.small groups of friends that do a variety of things...theather, shopping,pj parties,on the phone, in person...and are there for each other at a moments notice.....love each one and loved by them...
thanks for reviving the post...it is really a good one....
