Rent the movie "War of the Roses" There is good advice in there.
A civilized divorce is a contradiction in terms.
You need to work those issues with a lawyer and stay away from contact with your EX.

You have some very serious problems. First of all a restraining order is as good as toilet paper. Do not be nice, He must already know what the outcome will be. Get yourself legall help. I had a relative that went through nearly the same thing. When you married him that changes everything. If you have both names on the house get legal help. If you had him on your bank account you can kiss your money bye. If he forged your name and he is not on the account then I hope you can prove he stole from you. Start over with somebody else, let the Lawyers do the work. He didn't care to do you wrong.

There is no handling this kind of man. I would try the lunch plan, where you can meet him in public. I would go in with a time limit and stay to that time limit. As soon as you settle into a table, get menus, drinks, I would present the papers, and ask him to sign them right then. I would explain that you will not agree to any conversation, or subject, until he signs the papers. After he signs the papers, I would thank him and then explain that he is not to call you, come by, or contact you again, ever. I would get up and walk out of the restaurant and then run to your car, drive away, and never, never look back. Do not answer his calls and if a unknown caller calls, do not ever answer. You need to count your losses on this one, and run. He is not worth one other thought. I wish I still believed in the Lawyer thing but I don't. What I have learned is that when you employ a lawyer to handle a divorce, only the lawyer wins. I wish you well on this one. Let us know how you make out.

Ilikecops not good advice if you sleep with them after the papers are signed it constitutes a reconciliation in La. Get yourself a lawyer and let them take care of the proceedings. You won't have any regrets this way. And the lawyer will get you everything you are entitled to and some.
