just in case some of you well blessed people havingplans or maybe you don't taking in the New Year... i want to thank everyone i've come across via this 50's group and wish everyone a great New Years Eve and New Year ...as this past year ends, we all had a rare chance to meet via the forums and of recent, this group of 50's and over...so wherever you are when it's offically 2008, hopefully, 2008 brings in the best year one could ever wish for....so lets leave 2007 behind, the precious memories never to be forgotten, while we just remember that 2007 was the year we all began to meet online here and allow the friendships in 2008 to grow more...Happy New Year to everyone!!!

I haven't been on this site long but I believe that it has some of the nicest people you could want to be cyber friends with. I know that the Widowers group has been wonderful to me and enabled me to do what I needed to do to get on with my life. I am hooked, and when I feel down I just log on and visit some of the groups and forums and I am ok so...Thanks everyone for being here and may you have everyone have a happy and prosperous New Year!

I just got on this site a couple days ago, have tried so many dating sites that I didn't care for, this one is user friendly and enjoying the 50+ chats here. 2007 had it's ups and downs for me, more ups than downs. Spending my New Year's Eve with 2 of my 3 grandchildren, Nate is 6, Emily 4, they leave for Germany in the spring for 3 years. Every chance to be with them is precious. Mom and Dad in the Air Force. Hoping 2008 will be the year I find that special someone, maybe on here? Happy New Year to all - Becky

2007 was a mixed bag for me but 2008 looks much better. I have found a place that as someone said in another thread like Cheers everybody knows you name> Toall the members of 50+ a very Grate 2008

Thank you so much soprano for your wishes.
I want to thank all you friends for support and input you have provided when I've needed it as well as for the laughs you've given me.
2007 was great because I met you, 2008 should be even nicer because now we've become better friends.

Having found this site..right around Thanksgiving...I am so thankful for the friends and the insights it has given me....Christmas, even though I was with family and it was full of love and joy...I did my very best to get to this little spot as often as I could...and now...to the New Year...may it be one, where we treasure our friends..laugh together, weep together, wish the best for each other and may each of our hopes be realized in 2008
