I read the other day about a really neat approach to what we want. It is about the law of attraction, and how we get what we want by focusing on things. We all do it but sometimes we don't realize we are doing it.

If we have a busy day and we have a lot of stuff to accomplish most of us make a list. My brother makes lists for everything. We do this so we can remember to do everything. We always get it done or make a new list or mentally try to remember to get it done.

Have you done the same thing for a new relationship?

Most of us can quote chapter and verse about what we do not want. I know I'm guilty of it. Well the idea is that we should make a list of what we do want, write it down and read it outloud to ourselves every day so we remember what we DO WANT, not what we don't want.

Would you bother to make a do not do list? Sounds childish in a way but how many of us have a list describing what we do want out of our lives? Reading it outloud every day brings it to the top of the "I want this list" we carry in our minds.

We do it for school, we do it in our jobs.

Do we do it for our personal lives?

I do now and it really makes a difference in how I approach my day. It takes a few minutes to go over it, but I add to it and cross off some things that I realize are not that important. Some I have crossed off I added back, it's MY list.

I challenge all of you to make that list...

My sister introduced me to this (The law of Attraction) a few years back.
Greatest thing she ever did!!

Im not sure how you came upon this , but, there is a speaker/writter named Esther and Jerry Hicks. It's the Abraham series. Law of Deliberate Creation, Law of Attraction, and the Law of Allowing. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I take that list challenge dailiy, thats what has kept me going, If I depended on my memory I'd be in trouble

Copter, was that "The Secret"?

I bought that DVD and need to watch it again. It seems to be working at work, but, I don't exactly know what I want to "put out there" in my personal life, that seems to be more difficult than obtaining business. I have my "wish board" right in front of me all the time at the office. When I meet someone through a function, then I put their business card up on my "board" and it really works. Speaking of work, that's what I gotta do right now so everyone have a great day and I'll talk to you soon.

Hey Jaeannie..

OK whats up with this movie?? It has come up numerous times in conversation. Everyone keeps talking about "The Secret", I have to go get it today and see for myself!

My sister does the "Wish Board", she has suggested it to me several times, maybe there is something to it.

I still haven't seen "The Secret," and have read a lot of stuff from different places. It is associated with the Law of Attraction. But if it works for your business then it works for everything.

Sometimes I have intentions for others that are answered amazingly fast and accurate. Most of the intentions I have for myself fall a bit short. A lot of it is supposed to be because I don't really "believe" it for myself as I do for others.

If you believe you can then you will, if you believe you can't then you won't. I think the list is part of the believing it and it makes you evaluate those things daily. Try it, it does work. Like the "board" you call it, I have pictures of things I want, but not of people. I believe if I did that for people I may get somebody that looks very good but may not be the best thing for me.

Been there, ain't doing that again. hehe

Susan James does a lot of stuff on the Law of Attraction. I've read some of her stuff. Abraham Hicks and others I've not read... yet. I read a lot so I will get there eventually I'm sure.

I need a picture that represents LOVE, what does LOVE actually look like? Different things to different people.

copter I think it is ok to have certain physical attributes that you are attracted to... long legs, red hair whatever but maybe you could think about other traits that you would like in a partner also, such as honesty, a good sense of humor(of couse these are just my examples) and make a list that includes everything you think you want . My exhusband had made a list of characteristics that he wanted in a mate and when he showed it to me it was like he wrote about me!

I truly believe in creating your reality with your thoughts and beliefs. For me the hardest part has always been knowing what I want! I know a list is not very "visual" and visualization does help. I have read you can do things too like setting your table for two or putting knick nacks in two's...pairing things up. Making room in your closet...things like this sending a message to the universe (or your sub conscious) that says "hey, I'm ready for a partner. good luck....I always enjoy your post!
