Good for you!
I think that is what all "good guys" hope for...
to meet someone who can value good actions and see it
as a strength...not a weakness that means you're a doormat
to be tested.

Being "good" doesn't mean you are brave, exciting,
capable, confident, good looking, solid or anything
else particularly. So why would you assign your
success or failure, at romance, to this?
If "good" is the best you can do, you may as well
expect a lifetime of losing to "better".

lol But, the moral of this story is, Their are good girls out their, Just sometimes u gotta go through some trash first. Just stay true to ur self cause gfs n bfs will come n go, But ur stuck with urself forever
Morality is even more uncommon than Common sense.
The trick is, finding one that already has morality because, ones version can not be forced onto another.

OP, you have to be true to theyself first.
Re: good guys, they don't finish at all and at most will only be a girlfriend with an appendage between their legs for a women
Women are attracted to the bad boy because of the excitement but get all hurt when they are taken adjantage of by them because they are "boys" and seldom grow up
Real men, a man's man or alpha gentelmen finish and finish at the top of the pack sence they are the leaders and run the herd (so to say) and are sought by all women.
Now you know and your welcome for the clarification.

I'm surprised at how many people seem to not have taken the time to read and actually think about OP's post before berated him.
Although, the term "good guy" can have many different interpretations. Not to offend anyone, but "good guy" usually equates to wuss. This is not a reflection on stature, but more upon a guys social interaction. Too many times I see guys get rejected because they act as if they are still in middle school. I urge those who are guilty to seek guidance from author David DeAngelo. Be warned he is a pickup artist, though he makes valid points in his writing which are applicable to those seeking faithful relationships as well.

i can see where youre comin from dude, but come on! you can be a good guy, but at the same time have balls. dont let people run over you. stand up for yourself. be confident. daring. you can be a good guy and still have BALLS. that includes standing up for yourself. like this situation. dont whine about it dude, do somethin about it. go find that girl that wants the kinda guy you are. or change your ways. whatever floats your boat bro

I think his point was that good guys do not always finish last. Sometimes if they stick to their guns they find a good girl.

You're not a good guy. You are a liar! And I can prove it.
On your profile you list that you live in Rhode Island. Aha! A state thats not even an island. You're a liar and you come from a state of liars! The Prosecution rests.

Thats a good question. I kept my ex for 4 years. 3 of those years were great when i was in
the streets. Then i got arrested and realized i never want to go back to jail again and turned for the good. 4th year it started going downhill. She left me for another bad boy but he treats her like shit. So now she realized that the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence and pretty much sucking up to get me back.

Youre still young and until you actually experience life (by that I mean all of your 20's) you really dont know what to think of it all. as far as finishing last,,,, I will finish with this...
When I die, I want my corpse to look like it's been through some of the craziest hell in this world.... that way, I can say I enjoyed the ride!!!

Good guys finish first! God talks about longsuffering which is patience and the ability not to be bothered with anger. If youre not bothered by anger and pple hating and you do what you need to be doing, which is improving yourself, life will be good. Don't long for anything, it is not necessary to achieve happiness, happiness comes from doing good things for yourself and for your neighbor. Happiness comes from disengaging with angry pple. If youre feeling down go do something nice for someone!

Somebody always gotta piss in the cheerios. if you don't care then don't care. Negative people seem to abound on here. I am not saying your have to be happy for everyone or even care for that matter. It just shows way too much about your maturity level and you really should not give that info away for free.

ROFLMAO...dude you pretty well hit the ole nail right on the head!! *Note, good guys might feel like they finish last, same applies to the females...but they dont, not really. Assholes finish last, and end up all alone in the end...where/when it really counts. When their young and wild, its like "who cares"...dime a dozen. THAT will change, trust me..lol.

Just because a man gets older; doesn't mean he gets nicer. Plenty of a**holes in the 40 to 50 crowds too; the bitter divorced ones. That's all I seem to meet these days. sigh. What I wouldn't give to meet a guy that was never married.

1. I dont think most of the men replying really read what the young man posted.
2. The other men are really being an a** about this thread. (well not all of them)
3. The ones who are being a** about this thread, should go back and read what the women posted....they might not be on a dating site...lol.
