I have got used to sleeping alone also--can't stand snoring or kicking feet all night:
I also have 4 pillows and my big teddy bear to hug,but in actuality I would be very pleased to have a playmate in my bed---then after we play--if he snored--i have another bedroom to go to........lol..--boy--I do remember some good times ------
When my gr-kids used to stay-- we would dance on m y queen bed--and have a ball--I miss that so much--0-boooo--hoooo---hugs-----Pat.

Just the opposite for me. When my husband died I WANTED to sleep in OUR bed. I could smell him and "feel" him there. Very comforting for me. OMG, I could never sleep with an animal in the bed.(at least not the four legged kind, LOL) Pets are okay but not in the bed. Fleas, pet hair, yuck!

Just like I don't like being without a relationship.....I don't like sleeping alone. There are six pillows on my bed......plus little extras. But nothing will ever take the place of the big old warm arm around me, his warm breath moving the hair on my neck, the sound of his snores meaning he is in deep and peaceful sleep, a muscle twitch every now and then that shakes the bed, and his soft kiss when he wakes enough to roll over for a while. Nooooooooo.......I like sleeping with someone.

Whale~ your will be LOVED so much in return, it is painful to watch what a parent can do to kids~we have to soften the blow, however the pain is still there for them. My ex did not show up for my daughters hs graduation, man did that hurt her! She still talks about it 9mo later, I can only listen. They are what they are and we can not change them.

My bed is piled with books, handiwork, crossword puzzles, and 2 cats. See, I don't sleep alone. My hardest part is going into the bedroom to sleep. I put it off as long as I can. I just don't want to face that bed with no one in it.

Try 15 pillows, ranging from extra firm to squishy to feather ones. From full to king size. Not to mention the down comforter and two cats.
