As far as I recollect the 1st amendment is still alive and kicking and just because someone wants to talk about it (and they don't violate their 5th Amendment right) I see no problem if they should try to post stuff about taboo subjects. Heck my curiosity is piqued by those who take the bait and have anything they could relate to the topic.

I have to side with Joel, Heather and Shark on this. I get tired of seeing decent threads and decent people out of no where subjected to worse than filth.
Yes, we all have our "rights", but just as important as the right to post it is my right not to be subjected to it.
As a free site though we have to remember that the admin here are likely doing the best they can to keep up with the volume. Unless and until Dustin finds people he can both trust with power and who will do it for free it is what it is.
I stay for the friends I've made and the good posts, when I can find them. The rest.........well I do my best to ignore it.

Fine, but then, let's call a spade a spade.
What you object to is Filth, not whether the acts are Illegal or not.
There already is a Wrong Thread button. Use It.
And Heather, if you are paying hourly for your Internet Service, well let's just say that it's a lot smarter to get it by the month, in which case your Internet Bill is a constant.
And Text takes up a lot less bandwith than Pictures or even smileys do.
