i would smack my ex non stop for the rest of my life if i held grudges..... he told me once he was going to have my parental rights taken away because i painted my daughters finger nails.....
i laughed and told him i would meet him in court with a video camera!
after that he stopped nit pickin the stupid chit for the most part!

lovesillusions...no, didn't starve. I had kids to feed. I came home from work, made dinner, helped with homework, drove kids to activities, read the bedtime stories, sang the songs, scratched the backs, cleaned the kitchen....did what had to be done. And loved every minute of it.

my ex was spoiled...... if he wanted cookies at 2 am i would wake up and make them..... dinner ready when he got home...... clothes laid out.... house spotless kiddos taken care of an in bed..... lunch made for next days work..... and backrub till he fell asleep...... after his sexual needs of course..... on his days off (he worked 7 on 7 off) i sat around with the kids while he was gone doin his "own" thing.... same thing pretty much.... whatever he needed or wanted.... was waiting for him when he came home...
never seemed to be good enough though...... oh well! lol i had fun doing it... kept me busy and outta trouble!

Well I will tell you this much. My ex did a lot of things to me. I am not saying that I was never wrong either, sure I was. I recently helped her out a little and I felt good about it. Why? Well, because I did the right thing. Although we had our stubborn fights that no one won. I put the stubborn fight to rest, by helping.
Why am I telling you this?
Because of a disturbing post I read off this thread.
A relationship can take the way you feel about PEOPLE in general and turn it into war. The fact of this matter is... Yes we shared love with our partners, yes we learned things about them that no ones else knows, and yes they have done things to us that is just ARGH!! Right?
But behind all of this... They are still people. People who make bad decisions in life will end up with karma.(that I totally belive). I will tell you one thing though. My ex really made life hard after we seperated for sure, but she is still a person. I wouldn't wish death on her and I would help her if she were dieing. I would just never ever date her again.. Thats my peace statement.

The friendship we had before we started getting serious. She was my best friend, a person I would have gone to the ends of the earth for. She was my soulmate as a friend, could always make me laugh when I was down. I miss the good times we had.
