Self centered, self indulgent,
an odor pungent,
Conceited, judgemental,
alas! Be gone, be gone!
My solitude stands
forever guarded
from the invasion
of such distaste.
No time
for your greed,
your lust
in dementia.
Beyond reason
insanity beckons
only to reclaim
it's own.
Solitude! My womb
my home from unholy
succumb beyond my gates,
but never enter!

Visions, appearing
on frosted glass,
writing names of
those who pass.
Faces etched
on window panes,
washed away
by summer rains.
In that moment,
I felt them near,
in that window
from yesteryear.

Lost, like a memory,
Fading, distant, faint,
blackness devouring
all that was,
all that is,
that is yet to be,
the blindness cannot see,
there are no thoughts,
no perceptions,
just a void
of darkness,
fallen
like a warrior.

You held it for a moment.
You didnt know that it was fragile.
You gave it back the day you walked away.
You broke it.
You should have bought it.
So hard to use a broken heart.
I will grab the duct tape....wrap it up tight.
Moving on, with my hand on my heart, for protection.

I am darkness,
creator of night,
I am the sun,
creator of light.
I am the eagle,
soaring on high,
I am the wings,
that let you fly.
and yet
you fail
to know me.
