surelyugest Nanaimo, BC age: 50	The thing that bothers me.. cigarettes are a legal product... the government used to promote them and those taxes ..well what did they pay for.. an aweful lot of things to be sure. I'm in Canada and the laws here are such that you can't smoke within 100 feet more or less of any business. One province is actually going to have people watching if there are people smoking in cars with kids..( not so bad for the kids) that driver will be fined. the point being .. we are being discriminated against for something they gladly take our money for. anywhere from 6 bucks a pack to over ten. If they truly want to eliminate smoking and reduce health care costs. THEY should provide each one of us with the strongest 'stop smoking' product available FREE.. not costing a hundred bucks a shot.. there's no incentive there

dobid Mattoon, IL age: 53	the smoke shack deal is no good,i want to smoke with my beer not run in and out,cant take your beer out.actors can smoke durry performances,so some bars are having theatrical nights to get by the law.but that wont last.i still dont see a problem with starting a smokers club only.you can serve coffee n beer.none smokers wouldnt be allowed.just like american legion.they cant keep members now whos going to pay to belong to a club where you cant be comfortable.

We probably pay more in taxes than the non-smokers for heavens sakes!!! I do try to be considerate...but the non-smokers seem to be taking over...what makes them any more "important" than us...don't like our smoke...then give us a place to do it and leave us alone!!!
