I DONT THINK IT MATTERS IF YOUR MARRIED ITS OUR MONEY AND THATS IT I WOULD JUST WANT THEM TO MAKE BIG FINANCIAL STUFF AS A US ALSO

for a woman (or a man) who has to keep 'reminding' the other that she/he makes more money, that IS a problem. doesnt have to do with dollars. its about putting down the other and making him/her feel less worthy.
when there is caring and respect in a marriage, shouldnt matter who has the higher salary. if both are happy what the other is giving in the relationship,thats what counts.
but thats where it can get tricky. some men or women are fine about stay at home or under-employed spouses and some mind very much.

trinagal ...i agree with you it can be tricky,,the reminding is psycological. some women just want to tell the guy 'hey...am the chief here' and that radiates a kind of emotional disatisfaction for the man.
he may decide to start behaving badly and before long the family is in tatters...
I think both partys should be able to talk about it openly and candidly and assure each other that all is for the good of the family....
But obviously as u said its tricky..people change.....

I can't speak for some women, nor men. I can only give my imput on my last marriage. I was the one with the assets. He had the skills. We made agreat team in the business world.
I think anytime assets are used as a weapon the relationship is over. I make great money.I don't need to be supported,I personally wouldn't care what he made as long as he was doing something.
When you become married, Those assets are blended into the good of the family..
Anyone that plays these types of games are not for me there is more important things in this world to have to figure out than who makes more money

I think that shouldn't matter. Unless they are going to bring it later on if life to get back at you. Especially if they are/were helping you to pay off your bills! I just thought they were be nice and helping you out. Money isn't everything to me, It's just nice to have some! Have to get an education to get the money. Or lucky I guess
