Wildgypsy, Just because you don't have a weight problem doesn't mean there isn't something about you that isn't attractive to others, (like maybe your mouth, and the words that come out of it.) Sorry to be so blunt, but since you don't have a weight problem you shouldn't comment on how or if a person can or cannot gain or loose weight. What you said about my words being BS, I resent that.

Wow, same old same old. While one poster may have had a legit reason (meds may be causing the weight gain), I resent BS like pink_butter_fly's blaming it on a disability because it prevents her from exercising. When I got slammed and couldn't even get off the couch for months, never gained more than 5 extra pounds. Knew that a decline in activity meant a decline in food input. I also know it is a load of crap to try to blame genetics. Seeing the HUGE relatives I have, just warned me to be more careful. Sorry, but just saw that post as another lame excuse for a lack of self control, and people who do that just make others suspicious and less tolerant of those with LEGITIMATE medical problems that cause it. I have a morbidly obese aunt who tries to blame her diabetes, instead of that entire cobbler she ate in one sitting.
Thanks to those who posted that they wanted their partners to be HEALTHY as I sure wouldn't let myself fall for someone who had shortened their life, and ability to enjoy a lot of activities, to the extent that the obese do.
Pink “Wildgypsy, Just because you don't have a weight problem”
You mean since I do what it takes to not become obese, let’s keep it straight, already seen you like to skew things to suit you.
“ doesn't mean there isn't something about you that isn't attractive to others, (like maybe your mouth, and the words that come out of it.)”
I find your defensiveness and denial to be very unattractive traits as well. LOL I am soooooooo tired of all these myths and excuses people use for being so fat. Over 90% of the fat people are just lying. To themselves and everyone around them.
“Sorry to be so blunt,”
I’m not. But as you can see, no amount of it will ever wrench you from those excuses if you dare to post this crap. Go ahead and try lame attacks like this, but will never work.
“ but since you don't have a weight problem”
And what do you classify as a “weight problem”? Having a disability to contend with, having kids, having a genetic trend in a family where 99% of the women have all been morbidly obese… Yeah, all those lame ass excuses, and I could USE every one of them. But the TRUTH is, they would just be excuses, not reasons.
“ you shouldn't comment on how or if a person can or cannot gain or loose weight.”
FACT is they CAN, many just don’t. They just keep using excuses for it.
“ What you said about my words being BS, I resent that.”
And all of your excuses are BS and I resent your trying to pretend otherwise, much less promote these same old lies in an attempt to fool others. One of the biggest contributing factors to the overwhelming epidemic we have in this country. Too many that are too scared or polite to tell them straight out to back away from that buffet.

Well anyways people. The Lord tells me to love everyone. I'm so glad my Lord looks at the inside of people instead of the outside. Wheather you are small, med, or large, I love you all. God bless you everyone. Even Wildgypsy. My prayers are with you.

Weight doesn't matter as long as you know what they weigh when you meet. What happens when he or she gains weight during the relationship, would it matter? would you still be attracted, you will still love them for who they are, but would the weight gain affect your physical relationship? Just a thought

evileddy. There are so many people online that enjoy trying to do everything they can to kill the spirits of others. That's sad for them for that shows something has hurt them in some way or another. I just feel so sad for people who seem to want to cut others down. It all goes back to evolution. The Superior and Inferior. I guess fat people don't deserve to exist in her world. No one is better than another. God made us all equal in his site. It makes me really sad to see the attitudes of some people.

What happens when he or she gains weight during the relationship?
If they took their wedding vowels sincerely, "In sickness or in health, To love and to cherish, for better or for worse, then it shouldn't make any difference. In some cases, it might affect someone's physical relationship, yes, but if it is a medical issue, (which i studied in the medical field) being truely in love it wouldn't make a difference. I fall in love with a persons heart, not their looks.

in my case,
normal weight, if have some pounds more,is ok, I dont care, IS OK...
normal guy, no slender, no fat, just normal, average...
I DON'T LIKE FAT GUYS, huge guys, turn off
I am NOT superficial, I mean ,how you look is NOT everything,
is more important the personality, thats keep...
but also attraction is part of the package,
come on, is not only about weight, is about health,
take care of your body and dont eat crap, fast food, keep healthy.
sorry I don't want to be rude, but is true...
but there is someone for everyone,
so no worries...
and If you want to lose weight never do it for someone, do it for yourself, because you care about you!
that is just my opinion...

Weight doesn't make a lot ofdifference tome unless it' one of those morbidly obese people who can't fit out their door. I'm overweight and I think men are more judgemental about it in a woman that women are. At least men in women in my age group (over 50). You wouldn't believe hfow many profiles of overweight bald men in their late 50"s are looking for a girl "slender and toned" age 35-45A chubby old broad like me hasn't got a chanceI just wanna meet someone and go have a couple of cold ones.

LOL Gotta actually agree with Evil on this one. The obese are doing a good enough job of sending themselves to an early grave, no need for anyone else to help.
But, the fact that pink decided to come back with such a flagrant flip out, trying to put words in my mouth (because the truth didn't taste so good in her's?) just gives another example of the mental issues of the obese that are just as much of a problem as adding all the additional supports to chairs etc. Yes, they do put a hell of a lot more wear and tear on furniture, you should see what one did to my poor recliner, RIP.
So once and for all pink, get it straight. I pity you for not having any self control and being unable to maintain a healthy weight.
I hate the BS lies and excuses people hide behind for being obese.
What I sincerely hate are the parents of those obese children that show just how much they DON'T care about their kids for letting them get to that state,

There are individual tastes to consider but it's my opinion that, in general, excess weight is harmful in many ways, including social acceptability. The biggest turn off regarding excess weight happens when the distribution is poorly arranged.
