what a laugh. american women are the world's most well-trained liars. they are taught how to use sex for personal gain, how to rationalize it so they are the victims, and taught that men are inferior beings who are always the problem. i used to roadie part-time in the late 70s-mid 80s. i would be hanging with the sound man and light man while the bands were playing. usually, the boards were in the back by the restrooms. i have heard hundreds of pairs of girls getting their stories straight. they were going to blow off the guys that they lied to in order to get their fun paid for, and wanted to make sure that there were no slip-ups. they didn't "change their minds" nor did they "realize that i don't know you well enough". they did what they set out to do.
women want honesty and loyalty from their men, but don't feel that they should respond in kind. listen to a bunch of women in their "b**ch sessions. they laugh at how stupid their men are. they treat their men like they are a secondary option while the men must always treat them as the first option. they scream when their men don't stand up for their way of thinking, irregardless whether they are right or wrong. yet, they refuse to give their men the same courtesy.
Look I am not an American woman technically, but really saying that American women are the best trained liars(and all the other whining...) in which movie did you see that X-files? I think you had some bad experience but you should try to recuperate the contact with the REALITY, because, no offense, but it really looks like you lost it...

Thats why it is best to just come out with it. It at least puts a woman's mind at ease knowing her man will be honest and when she asks him something, she knows she does not have to dig deep to get answers and still not believe him. Its like being a kid and getting caught doing wrong. Yes, Mom and Dad will get mad, but won't get near as mad if the kid is honest. It shows integrity. The deal is, the guy can't keep being dishonest thinking if he tells the truth the woman will get over it. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

If she says she is going somewhere, I KNOW she is going there, and same with her. If more people were honest, then relationships would be better.
Last thing I wanted to address, in my experience (cause I do have several friends around 25 years old) that the young girls, about 18-24 or so, confuse jerk with guy with a spine. So, in MANY CASES, a guuy that age to get his foot in the door has to pull that crap, the lies and game playing. So for the OP, her age is a big factor.

I am glad to hear you have found that one that does not BS. Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy and I do see more women in their twenties acting out, but it is because they think when guys get up with them it is for them and not the fact that they are acting like wh*res. Its really confusing to me and anyone that has the right feelings about relationships and people like that screw things up for those that are not into games. This is why I never judge someone right away, but I do not fully trust right away either. I just observe and listen for lies. I never want to be with a liar again. It is honestly one of the worst traits someone could have and heart breaking to watch them ruin themselves.

Its not that they cant be honest. Its just easier to lie then tell the truth. The truth hurts for sure. We just try to figure out how to tell the truth before you find out. Ladies always find out before we can tell the truth. The lie is to spare your feelings but we end up in more trouble because we lied first.

This is a two way street, it happens to guys too..
As far as your circumstance? I only know what you stated inititally..
You two broke up...that me states? Free agent..However the fact that you two decided to get back together? And you asked that hard question.."Sooo..have you hooked up with someone else?" And he said no..yet later on you found out diffrent?
Who knows..he may have been scared when approached with the question because the real answer may have led to more questions, details and he wanted to squash it..
It is tricky..He is obviously into you and this is why he lied..the old saying "Deny till death" when put on the spot..
However I would be wary that he lied instead of being forthright and allowing you to make a decision based on a truth..
It really is up to you..

But dont give up on finding someone who can be honest and good to you. And always keep in mind some people are able to change. Some just havent found the reason they need to do so and others need help. Im glad i had both. Even though it was too late now I know i have the chance to do things right. Never give up.

No matter the gender, let's face it, everybody lies a little bit. I don't condone any kind of lying, and the severity of it does make a difference to move on in the relationship or not.
If they lie constantly even if not servere, do you really want that in your life? Is that person really worth it. I have learned from recent experience. As much as I loved this lady, the (small) lies and the games finally got old.
My big tbing is I doubt everything she'd say from here on out if I stayed with here, and I can't live that way.
So I think it's a case by case, and how much you want to put up with it.

Females do not want honest. I am about as honest as it gets. I am just as INcapable of lying as it can ever get. I am the type would would rather not answer than to lie when I speak. Guess it comes from getting my arse beat anytime I did lie as a child. Anyhow, when I was married my wife called me an arsehole pretty much every 15 minutes. Why? because I didn't lie. She would ask ... "can we go out to eat" ... my answer ... No. I can't afford it ... her reply ... you're an arsehole. A liar would have said "not today, maybe tomorrow" ... You all don't want honesty, you want to hear what you want to hear and its our job to figure out what that is. When I am dating a girl I want them to be as happy as can be but I can not and will not change who I am to suit their needs.

If you swim with the sharks, it is YOUR fault when you get bit. If you sleep on railroad tracks, it is YOUR fault when you get run over. YOU have to take responsibility for the decisions that YOU make, the precautions YOU fail to take, etc. As a child, I was molested from age three to age five. Then I chose to take action against my molester, and the abuse ended. Fifteen inch carving knives are still my favorite kitchen implements. Since a five year old can defend himself, so the F can anyone else...who really wants to. Girls run faster with their dresses up than guys do with their pants down...especially if the gal ripped the guy's nuts off before running away.
Since talk of dishonesty reminds you of molestation, it seems likely that you feel that you were molested once upon a time. Get over it by taking self defense classes, and using what you learn when similar situations arise in the future.

In that sense, you can say that no one wants everyone to know their deep dark secrets because they feel that they will not be accepted by society because of them. I was dating this guy and we had broke up. We got back together like 2 weeks and i ask him had he mess with anyone and he said no. Ok we go to school together i find out that he started dating someone else from the school... wow like omg i was speechless. its like u cant trust any guys.
Big clue here... Most EX's are EX for a reason... leave well enough alone!

Unfotunatly, some of us are just to damn honest, I think it cost's us sometimes. People might not even go any farther than out profile because we say something honest about ourselves. Would we better off hiding some things untill after the contact? I don't think so if it costs me a contact, oh well. I'd rather be open and honest.
