Is it inappopriate for a man to ask a woman to wear pantyhose, even if he agrees to provide them to her?? I miss the days when seeing women dressed in hose and nylons. Some may say pantyhose are uncomfortable but the right brand, and size and style makes a huge difference.

At least ur telling her what u like. That's honest. Sometimes in the summer, I won't wear them, just go shaved and sandals. If the legs are not so nice, she could use a self tanner or a cosmetic to cover imperfections. But do understand if it's really hot out, u may lose here.

If you enjoy this as a sex thing...great...anything else....totally uncomfortable.
You did have a reasonable idea about the different brands.
May I be so bold as to suggest you wear a pair for a day and then make your decision?

Take a Sat morning when the temp is going to be 95, humidity 87% or so and pull a pair of these beauties...make them the control top...support hose.
No don't stay in the house. Be sure to shave your legs first then put them on under your jogging shorts, oh deerie, leave on those cotton briefs, you wouldn't want chaffng n'all the wrong places...then jog for an hour...as we say in Texas...BOY HOWDY!
At this point if you at this point do not have enough facts, try a different size and style..and so on until you can make a factual decision.
....just imagine how it would feel if you had on womens shoes too. Now think about having them on for 8 to 12 hours?

bevyea u r sooo rite. uncomfortable, and for some, unhealthy. and i doubt men would wear something created to run and snag and u have to buy more. i think they are old skool.
i would compromise and wear stockings though if i was dressing up.

I don't know I think some are hot on chica's. It all depends how u rock em.  I got problems lol with punk/rocker girls. So sexy. Lol I'mma sucker for their style.

I don't need panty hose my legs are tan the way they are. Although I understand where the OP is coming from. It is kind of sad to see no one dress up nicely to go out to dinner anymore.
Most of my dates wear jeans and polo shirts. Which I guess is better than a dirty undershirt and torn pants, but still.....

Although I don't wear then all the time since I am starting to tan up now, when I do dress to go out for dinner or some other event, I usually wear some sexy ones. I have a pair I just bought that are sheer black with a thin vine of black roses with rhinestone accents going up the side of the leg. They really accant the calf muscles well, when worn with high heels of course. Granted, they are not always the most comfortable things, but being sexy for your man does pay off ladies!

I used to wear black pantyhose all the time when I was a nurse in the UK, they were part of my uniform. I hated them, they were so hot and uncomfortable. I now live in Florida, and would not be caught dead wearing them now!! lol
