I'll check out that website, but I believe it is now too late to do anything about the fact that terror cells are already in this country. I'll be the first to admit I don't know a lot about these different factions, but knowing they are here is a reason for concern. If they are peaceful, I don't see any evidence of it.

I have wondered about something that is rather obvious to me. When traveling with my daughter we became tired and needed a motel room to sleep. My daughter wouldnt stay at any place that was ran by what she calls dot people. It took us hours to find a place ran by US citisins. Most motels are owned by those people. Isnt that just a bit scary? Can you imagine the problems this could make? Seems to me that shouldnt be happening.

What ever happened to Mom and Pop businesses? It seems like everything today is a franchise owned by some multi-million dollar business. And they only want to hire people that will work for $7.50/hr.
It truly is becoming a scary world. And I don't think ANYONE has any answers.

sweetness, God does not MAKE the innocent suffer or pay the price. as long as there is sin in the earth, these things will happen. there is good and bad in everything. the word speaks of wars and rumors of war and that the poor will be with us always.
the bad catholic priests have fellowship with bad baptist ministers as well as other denominations. but what are we as a blessed people doing to help those who were mistreated. there is kindness in the world but we rarely hear of that. we continue to bruise one another. just in this short span of dialogue, there has been much hatred spewed out to each other. there is nothing wrong with voicing our opinions, but when it turns ugly, nothing is ever solved. and we become just like them. so i ask, what is the differance between one hateful group and another? hate is the enemy.

Dear lasttime4me;I don't know were you got your facts from.The head scarf isn't to be used for what you suggested,and I worked in the desert for 9years along with many colleagues from Texas and we dealt with the Bedwins that live in the desert on daily basis;I've never seen them use the head scarf for what you calim(I will not use your language).
Dear Chucky; You might be wright about using the sand to clean.It's true,but what would you have done if you were in the desert and needed to use the bathroom,and you couldn't hold yourself and there's nothing available to you more than what's available to him,wouldn't you do the same(not being insulting),I would.
Rmoore;you're wright that they're protected by the same rights as you,I and many others,but believe me that will not stop the government from picking them up and putting them in jail.Many associates and financiers of some of these groups were picked up by the government and their assets were frozen.We will not be in Afghanistan if the threat was really at home
For all interested,most the Arabs and Muslims don't agree with Bin Ladin, Hamas or any of these organization of whom many are formed to fight their own governments like the Algerians.Hamas was formed to fight Israel(the Zionist party).Alqaeda,was established in Afghanistan to be our(US.)representative to curry the war against the Russians.We supported Bin Ladin all the way;it's unfourtunate that it back fired on us the same way we supported Saddam and Iraq against Iran,and look what happened.It's all politics;the more scared we are ,the more money some one else is making.It' sad to see our kids die or come home disabled in Iraq or Afghanistan for no reason.In 1964 an Iraqi president named:Abdul Kareem Qasim,had the same idea of invading Kuwait and returning to Iraq;the British army moved into Kuwait to prevent the attack.Few months later they were able to organize a coon against Qasim,and he was assassinated with 10-13 dead only(not certain of the number).We could have done the same.Qasim = 13 dead / Saddam = 5000 dead 20000 disabled.Don't you think there's something wrong with the equation.Who's paying the price;we are.Who's gaining and making the money;we're not.Let's not blame a whole nation for the faults of a few Muslims and many politicians.There are the good and bad in every nation and every religion.Getting excited and using foul language is not the answer.

I'm Canadian and as most Americans are aware, your government does have some legitimate concerns over both our immigration policies [as well as their own of course] and our unprotected border.
Toronto is a very multi-cultural city, however, so there a far more good people from any identifiable group living here than bad. Every language spoken on earth is spoken in some community here. Having given kudos to the good people, I'm sure Toronto is also of concern to your government.
But what scares me more than those who are 'out of the closet' and waving their banners in support of their cause as mentioned by the OP, are those who may not even be a member of their community. I'm talking about white, Anglo or Catholic, Canadian born people who - for some strange reason - think they're going to build some bizzare empire of their own and run one by both sides without being noticed.
I swear on my life I've had to deal with four like minded individuals. IMHO they make drug addicts the world over look bad. Nuff said.

Another thing that has me concerned is. I thought our guards were here to protect and heip with the security IN THIS COUNTRY. When we use them as another branch of the active military and send them out of the country then tell me WHO is to take care of things right here? If we had one of these groups of people to rise up against us we wouldnt have anyone here to fight it. Dont tell me that the government hasnt thought of this. They are NOT that stupid.

Not only that, Shalah, but our law enforcement is being affected as well-everywhere! Shorthanded because some are being called on to join our troops. I don't want my input here to sound negative because I support our men and women. One way we can help our local law is by keeping alert.

 My uncles were the county Sheriff and police officers when I was a child and many of my fathers customers were of the highway patrol, sheriffs dept and police dept. I grew us with these people around me like family. Sometimes all we see is the uniform. There are some really good people on the force and on the fire dept.
