rmoore: perhaps send an email to someone on the end of the list like starting on page 27/26/25 and so on and tell them via an email to post on the threads--get everyone involved this is our board working together--of course you may not know them but perhaps they read your email and now you've met, right???

e-mail might be a good idea, it would at least let that person know they have been noticed. Some may be like me, actually quite shy in person but find it much easier to communicate on here with others. Just got to overcome and start talking, smile

Yes..I noticed several days ago..and it is a very nice addition...I also like how one can keep track of thier friends, by the day..you can see if someone has updated their profile, entered an entry into their blog, or if they started a new thread. This just gives us all another chance to appreciate all that Dustin is doing to make this one heck of a great dating/meeting/matching/friendship site

just send an email from decending order to member MIA and say simply: have not seen you for awhile on DU, why not join in on the threads here and have some fun the next time you're online--that's priceless itself--this is not just to check for friends as everyone should be one whole happy group, no exceptions, no outcasts too...JMO

Sorprano...The additional features to the friends section does not preclude taking an active and yes, all encompassing interaction of the rest of the site...I was stating how nice it is, to be able to see the additions that people I am closer too have made on the site. Just as in real life, a person will feel a connection to some..and become closer to them, share more with them...so it is true here. It is a fact of life..and I am sure there are those that you feel a stronger connection to..then some others. JMO
