I don't know where it came from, but today my girlfriend made me cry. It was small compared to the after-effect. We were horsin around on the couch and I told her there was somethin in my nose. She went to pull it out and all I felt was pain, and before I realized I was cryin it was too late. I can count on my hand how many times I've cried in the past 10 years, but I don't know why everytime she said she was sorry, I couldn't help but cry more. I look into my kids' eyes and I can't help but think that I can't be as strong for them knowing that something so little can peirce my armor. Is it bad to show a lil vunerability?

Of the times that I have cried, this has got the be the second that a female has caused it. And the first was outside of a relationship. The thought of a female breaking my armor is outrageous to me, and even though she thinks it's ohkay, I feel like it's not. Everytime I heard her say sorry, I felt weak. WEAK!?!?!? Lawd...

Bucktail...that's the thing. There wasn't much of any weight to be carried. To top it all off today was the day we went and got our marriage license. Crazy ain't it. I never knew the part of me existed and I really don't know if it's in her to accept my pervious shell.

Crying is very healthy. And it will be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back" that brings it on -- so that explains why you feel sucker punched by the experience. I had some very weighty matters to deal with between December 2006 and about a week ago.

So I got in touch with a female friend of mine whose child also attended Special Education classes with mine -- and she was once their baseball and soccer coach on coed teams. If anyone was going to listen to me b*tch about child related problems I figured it was her.

Turns out she was experiencing a few of her own...and worse stuff. So we buddied up again coz she's good at teaching clutzy people, who are downright humourous when in pain, like myself how to tell the world to f*cking back up -- and they get scared and actually do.

I on the other hand, am good at teaching people who have no time for that to play paperwork table tennis, how to get a bureaucracy to go f*ck themselves (coz just telling them to don't work).

But this week, after a year of what would have made me fall at any other time -- I cried coz someone was mad at me...even tho I pissed them off. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

Cryin is a hell of a lot healthier than trying to hold things inside that need to get out

Duck, I haven't a problem letting things out. I can tell anyone anything. It's one of my best newly learned qualities. I think there is a problem in the linkage of expression of pain to my abilities as a man. Can a person cry every once and awhile and still be the man, father and/or soldier that his is?

Ge0ge0, yah I think it was a nose hair. She just kept sayin you told me to get it, and she wasn't tryin to hurt me. I think the words 'hurt me' reverberated through me like a thousand knives. All I could think was, this female can actually cause me physical pain. Never occurred to me.

A real man can let himself cry when he needs to. You should never feel awkward about it, be proud of yourself that you have the ability to feel that deeply!!!

Hun..crying is very healthy for a man or woman..if a man never cried..I would assume that something is wrong....Everyone has emotions...and it's a shame when not expressed..( wink ) Sea
