From your reply, I don't think you understand what I posted. Of course we will have to deal with “the religious crap”, what are you going to do, run outside and say stop now. As to being pessimistic, in your narrow understanding, I doubt you know what true optimism is, as you rely upon hope and apparently fail to see the reality of the world. I've met many who think they are enlightened, whilst actually they are just head puffers and know very little. I've met a few who are enlightened, yet you wouldn't know as they don't go round making out they are something they are not.
As a believer in illusions, you're expressing the heading of this thread eminently, as one would expect.
