Actually, tn tx... it's about all of the different personalities in our heritage that went into our general "make-up" and laid the foundation for us to "come into being"... many who probably would have never agreed on much or even disliked one another. I think we have a lot of those "bits and pieces" within us...

I am aware of my abilities & faults and can still can accept & like myself, as is, most of the time. However, the attraction of the opposite sex is just that,attraction based on wanting to understand those who are different from us. Our siblings might be our copies but our mate is best as our complimentary. I believe I benefit from the positive attributes that I can see & appreciate in a gentleman. That is the essence of the concept, appreciate. Children benefit from 2 parental views too, it increases their awareness in problem solving & survival skills
Vive le difference. Don't expect a woman to be like a man or convert him into your clone. Doesn't work, against the divine plan & our place in nature.

I think I and he I would definitely have a problem, we would both be in trouble with a foot in each of our mouths. Because of my inability to not stop me from saying what I think and heme would not listen to me when I told him to hush.
