I have had my heart broken several times on dating sites, but I am still looking for that guy who is serious about being a friend and companion and not necessarily friendship leading to marriage. I want someone I can go camping with, go to a movie, go traveling with etc. I am a professional woman and there just aren't any nice men left in Western North Carolina!

I know that my not yet being divorced plays a big part in my (not) meeting her. I am working on that, and I have put my love life in God’s hands, That special person will know I am true and I will know she is also. It is frustrating that some of my correspondences go unanswered, that Is God’s way of telling me that she isn’t the one for me. After 6 years of being separated the divorce is inevitable. I just found out where she is so I can start the process. For now, I am lonely and God knows my hart, so I take it one day at a time. Yes, I’d like to find a woman close at hand, but God may be saying NO
or NOT YET. we need a set of praying hands.

Rich101, I just found out that a very nice man that I met on this site had found someone closer in distance to him. We had all ready started caring for each other, so it was with tears that we parted on line 2 days ago. We were supposed to meet in person over Easter weekend.He did not believe in God and I have a very strong faith. God has a way of knowing who is going to be right for us.A lot of times when he closes doors new ones pop open, usually taking longer than we want it to. Cheer up, it will happen when it happens.

I cant stand watching this site go down the tubes. I know exactly what your talking about. Most people on here just want to hook up. If I can find one decent woman on this Im hooked!

You're right. They are either too far away or they say they are in another "relationship." Or you make a date to meet them and they cancel the week before or they don't show up.

well u have too find that prince charming all a guy wants is a one night stand , some don't want too anwser any questions u ask them, they try too blow it off too keep from telling u what u want too know about them.

Three cheers for Sandelle, I"m new on this forum thing, my first time, I have just one question for the men gender, Why not give us lady a chance, i'm sure i'm not the only one that has written e-mail upon e-mail with no response whatsoever.
