I mean really now i know i'm not a bad looking woman but it seems no one is serious or just want to screw and let me tell you something now i know i gonna die one day regardless but i surely don't want to be so careless i died from a sexually transmitted disease. What about dating  ? GETTING TO KNOW SOMEONE  . Help me are am i just out of the loop and if i am are there any other men in the Raleigh area also out of the loop? just asking/ A SISTA COULD USE SOME REAL CONVERSATION

Hippy, hang in there! I know how you feel and I've just about given up on finding someone worthy of "dating!" I definitely haven't met anyone who could possibly interest me into spending the rest of my life with him! Most men my age want someone in their 40's (like yourself) and I'm guessing their intentions aren't honorable! My new favorite saying is "I'd like a man in my life but not in my house."

Makes one wonder... Last year I met a man for lunch.. While eating he told me " I want someone to take care of me" Needless to say I didn't meet him again.. I wasn't wearing a Maids uniform. Some things are best left unsaid-at least for awhile, and try to figure out if its firts time jitters or what.

I am serious about finding a friend. I believe looking for love or even a long lasting relationship may be a bit much to expect from a web site. So, I keep my expectations realistic and go from there. I have made quite a few friends and I am having fun doing it.

Well i am here to let you ladies know that shivery is not dead. There are guys on here who actually are looking for that special someone and not just for a one night stand too. I have actually found that women are as bad as some of the guys with the one nighters and casual dating. I myself am looking for a woman to share my life with...just haven't found her yet, But i shall try all the avenues laid before me and keep searching. So good luck to ya'll.

I think most people on on here because they dont have anything better to do I have sent out several emails and have got only a couple replys Most people dont even have the courtesy to answer you back Im sorry thought this was a dating site Guess I was confused !!!!!

I'm wonderng myself about these sites. Been on this one for about a week. It's not too bad. I don't understand why people have to judge people on their looks instead of seeing what a person has inside that is more beautiful. Never tried this forum thing before, but thought I'd give a try.

You'll find what you expect. I have met a number of men from this site and another, none of them pressured for sex -- I was very up front that sex will come when and if I believe the relationship will be long-term and not before. I have had some who pushed before meeting and I just did not meet them.
