Ok, evil that is the stupidest remark i've ever heard.
Look Marissa i don't know what to really tell you but theres got to be a reason he's throwing you hints or what would be the reason for all of it. His mom dying could be a lot to do with it all, so when he finally calls just straight forward talk to him and get an answer to what going on and where you stand. I have no idea if any of this will help you but just talk first before you give up or anything.

Well my advice to you marissa, is his mother really dying? Have you been over to see his mother? He comes to see you, but then runs out of nowhere, and he is not seen or heard from in days. So what gives? Tell him you would love to see his mother, and that you would love to be there for him and be by his side because you care. I am sure he would get very nervous around you. He will start jittering and start slurring his speech. I know for a fact there is another woman involved learning from experience.
