 I used to belong to a group that would go to dinner and every 20 mins or so the guys would get up and go to the next table. There was 3-4 girls and guys at each table. You would just have to pay for you meals only and tip the help. Would anybody know of any dinners for single around any more like this? This one was for cristains singles.I would like to start one for anyone over 35. It started with 20 members. 3 months later it was over 70-80. The lady who was running it at Steak and ale in Westminster, found someone and it was over.
If there is no groups like this around would any one like to try and start another one with me at maybe the Country buffet at 88 & Sheridan or maybe the Golden corral at 98th & grant.
We did it on Tuesday & wednesday to avoid the crowds. I found this was the best way to meet others with out the bar scenes. Every body was more them selfs and not drunk.

It is but its not .Speed dating You spend 5mins or so with one person. This way you spend 20 mins or so with three or four others. it gives you alittle more time to relax.
I put a note on craigs list. and have had a few that would like to try it. when we do this I will let you know

nothing around grand junction for me All it is is family restursants 3 nightclubs not the nightlife most cities have. So vary few places to meet people. Also the mall seems to be a hangout place of thoughs that I would get thrown into jail if I dated them without knowing age.

That sounds like a great idea. Please let me know if/when you plan for this. Maybe I can help out. I do work 55 hours per week though and am taking 9 credits, but I might be able to help out sometimes.
I've often thought it would be fun to put together some type of singles over 40 dance or something like that where everyone knows they are single and everyone just mingles without pressure.
