Hi Kfab...well doesn't that just suck!! So she now says that she will start paying you some?? We all have bills and you were nice to help her, she needs to live up to her end of the deal !

You should not feel guilty. She borrowed, she owes. Sounds like she is immature, spends money freely and without regard to others (bankruptcy and not paying friends who loaned her money) and is not really a friend. I hope you get your money back, but dont feel guilty, she works on people this way so she doesnt owe them. Good luck

hey kfab.....hell no....no guilt there woman....shit i stalked my boss for the last week for her 1/2 of lunch....that was only 10.00 dollars....we work damn hard for our money....aint nobody taking it from me.....she finally paid me today..plus i got a 4 day wkend with pay.......GO GET YOUR CASH WOMAN................

Do not feel guilty if you want your money back, a true friend would not play on your emotions hoping you would forgive them, but not pay you back. Friendship or Money...it's about respect, you cared enough to help them out...respect should make them pay you back. They should not put you thru this if THEY are your friend....or let it go and know who your friends are....

KFAB, Can you say small claims court? Have a friend here that ended up taking another "friend" to court for exactly the same thing. No, you should not feel guilty and 9 months is about 8 to long to wait for your money.
