Hurt soooo bad at times? All I want is just one more hour or one more look or kiss with my husband. I know I can't have it but these last few days it has hurt me soooooo bad my heart hurts and it makes me sooo sad. Why can't I have it why????????????????

Kfab, I have been in two wars with friends killed next to me. Why them??? I can not answer that. I can tell you that the little I knew them was a gift from God, and I thank God often for that gift. It has been over 37 years for one friend and about 3 weeks since the other. The hurt does come by me every so often like a wave of pain. I have learned how to cry for them, but then thank God for bringing them into my life, just like I thank God for bringing my DH friends into my life. When I was hurt and my friend died three weeks ago I started to ask God why, then you Kathy you passionate, beautiful woman, Cindy my friend that let me cry, because I needed to, and Jane, my friend of over 35 years in Michigan that has helped me through 2 wars, and Romie you soulful lady that I can not say enough about, my dear friend Lisa that I hate to refer to her as my ex, my children and family, reminded me why I must thank God for bringing both of those great men into my life. I am here for you my dear friend, just like you and all my friends were with me in the rivers and missions in Viet Nam and in the mountains of Afganistan and the sands of Iraq. I hope this helps you, it helps to cleanse me. Big love to all my friends through all our hard times. We can pull our friends through anything.
