After having a few bad relationships where everyone says at least you should feel good about it, you're not the one who did the wrong. The answer is always no that don't make it hurt any less.
So the question is after you've gone through some of this is it easier to relly love somebody than it is to accept some one telling you they love you?

After this last mess, I'm having a hard enough time trying to Like anyone, much less thinking about Loving again. Some people just don't get it, and all the good words of theres Hope for a True Love to be found really don't help. jmo

Good question duck,
I can love the right person but it has to come from within and based on actions and unconditional actions and feelings of that person. It's something I don't lie about or fake. It is what it is, but it won't just happen to anyone. She has to be doing things that stimulate that type of feeling.
By the same token, many people use the word "Love" loosely. So in this case again, ones actions would dictate if said person is REALLY IN LOVE, OR THEY THINK THEY ARE IN LOVE, OR THEY HAVE EMOTIONAL AGENDAS BY SAYING SO. Lots of times people are in lust or simply put; happy because of tangibles, everything is rosy, and great sex. That's not love. Love is often confused WITH LUST.

Hey Daddy, theres no easy way to get around it, even if you didn't do the bad deed,it just plain ole hurts.you hurt , you're pissed off, then you get sad all over again. And you start doubting yourself.I thought I knew all the old tricks, but I'm still learning.

I fall in love way too quickly, I find it much easier to love than be loved or feel love. Just me in a nutshell....

I've been hurt too many times to count, yet I still wear my heart on my sleeve. Sometimes it's a good thing & other times not so good. I have no problem giving love, I do so freely, but feeling loved by anybody besides my kids, is a whole different story. Maybe if I would have ever had true love from a man, I could give you a better answer, but I really haven't.
Is it a trust issue, heck yes. I try very hard, but no matter how hard you try to put things in your past, & stay focused on the positive & the future, some things just don't go away so easily. ~ Like my X

I try not to flaunt the word love around too much. It takes away from it's meaning, but that's just me. I also only put lights up on my house at Christmas. Not Easter, Halloween or Valentine's Day, and for the same reason.
