Okay, so I need the advice from both men and women. I have been talking to someone for a lil but now, but every time that we are SUPPOSED to meet something comes up. I believe in the whole saying ' Good things comes to those who wait'. My question is this how long do I wait for? I'm willing to washout forever but not if this won't get anywhere.

There is only so much I will put up with. If someone can't make time for a date or two, then they shouldn't be looking to date.

BUSY: The dates are usually more sporadic. Not consistent. I usually apologize in between those gaps. I'm busy. But I still want to sustain the interest of that person, so I try to touch base with them in between that time. Communication is still a two way street.
Not Interested: Dates no longer exist. Communication is one-sided. Excuses are laughable. They're either in the process of being 'weened' off, or they have already been weened off. I'm usually defensive instead of apologetic. Call it a transference of guilt.

When I got hurt in an accident in October, I put all dating on hold. I have had a couple of women contact me and I told them up front what the deal was. One later got angry because I hadn't called to ask her out. I'm still not driving yet and not dating. Sometimes, you simply have to have patience.

How long have you been talking to this guy?
Is he the one that says that something came up?
I would still continue to date others too since your not committed.
Maybe he's getting cold feet and doesn't have the guts to tell you.

He isn't into you. He was feeling you out by talking to you, and he is too much of a coward to be honest, so he keeps making excuses hoping you will take the hint and leave him alone. If a guy is into a girl, he is going to make an effort to see her. It is that simple.
Ladies, let me ask you a question..
Would you rather have the truth or a no call and you take the hint? Women always say they want honesty. However, when the truth is something that hurts their feelings, it is always a different story. While it is always better to be honest, not calling a woman after a first date and sparing her feelings actually seems like the more humane thing to do. If you actually hear someone say to you "You seem really nice, but I just don't see a romantic connection happening" it can do some damage to their self esteem. But if you don't hear anything, you can get the message without your dignity or self esteem being harmed.

Technology has ruined dating. It's no longer people getting to know one another face to face over a cup of coffee or maybe lunch. It's all about text buddies now and online buddies. Communication gets lost now to easy. A lot of people don't have time to even date no more. People working and raising kids. Dating was much better in the 1980's and 1990's. People actually back then spent time getting to know one another. It's all text buddies now and online buddies. Dating ain't even reality no more. It's all technology. That's about it.

If its only been one date than its fine if just doesnt call. But after 3 or 4 than yes I want honesty.
What I have yet to understand is why some men go on 3 dates with a woman plan a 4th and then stop talking to them? Maybe its just me.

I'm not trying to hurt ur feelings, but I no u need to move on cuz, if every time u pose to meet and something comes up, he push u to the side, Jst n case wats he doing now doesnt work out he has u as a back up. Ok, do this next time yall plan to go out, nd Jst change it up tell him " let's hang out at home", nd if he still has an excuse then u no.
