I think guys lie to make themselves sound more interesting because in all reality they really aren't.
I had a guy that said he was in the navy when he wasn't at the moment just used to be. The clothes he wore, the motorcycle and truck he used to ride were his brothers. He said he had custody of his kids and he didn't. When I moved in with him I realized that he had shit. He only had 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts. So he went from dressing really nice to looking like crap an all because he wore his brothers clothes. And he would hardly ever see his daughters.
Guys tend to lie about what they do for a living and how much they make. Don't know why though.
I show people exactly who I am, no lies. My life and way of being is interesting enough that I don't have to lie about it. Although sometimes people think that I am a fibber because when I tell them some of my stories they think it's to outlandish to sound true but it really is.

I am so glad there are some people here with some common sense; both men and woman lie. When ever I see a post on a forum or hear a woman say, "All men are shit; they do nothing but lie and cheat."(And similar statements) Leads me to believe that they were hurt by a man and are pissed, thus generalizing men as a whole. To me it seems like pointless complaining. Not all men lie and the same goes for woman. If that is what you keep dealing with, you need to change your taste in men so you can find an honest one.
Things I hate the most are being generalized and stereotyped, it's really f`ed up.
And you ARE man bashing.

That is a statement with the purpose of generalizing all men... Look for a different type of man; go to new places and mingle with new crowds, obviously where you've been going and the people you hang with are the wrong choice for you.
