99,
I agree with your post about Nazis not being tolerant of other religions. However, I do not believe members have ever been vulgar about their perspective on Jesus.

99,
Not you. I don't recall anyone being so vulgar or extremely offensive about their opinion of Jesus. Posting an opinion doesn't equal to bashing.

9thstwonder- If by lord you mean Jesus, he was not a fighter. He preached peace, love and brotherhood. He did not want to fight Jews, he was born and died a Jew. He was a very devout Jew and wanted to reform Judaism. He beseeched his followers to "Love ye
one another". Many of his followers and some disciples were Jews. Christianity began as a sect of Judaism and had a preponderance of Jews as followers of the new sect. Much later, this sect of Judaism evolved into a formalized new religion.
You have made gross misinterpretations of whatever it is you're reading. You are filled with hate. If you could come to our Christian monastery, we could help you find love and peace.

I'm sorry you fill this way Vant? There was no need for you to make false accusations against me like that? Discuss the subject matter and not the person. I suggest you research, and comprehend before you comment. I assure you there is nothing but love and compassion in my heart. In fact, I probably do more good for my fellow man in an average day than you will in your life time. But, be that as may be, you have your self a very nice day.
Peace be with you

9th- "How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison"
"recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them"
"For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people"
The word "fight" is used so much in your comments that it misleads one into thinking
that you bear hostile feelings.
As Christians we have a duty to ALL people, not just our own.
Again, it seems that you express a separatist attitude toward non-Christians.
This isn't what Jesus was all about.
"I probably do more good for my fellow man in an average day than you will in your life time."
What can i say?

The story of Jesus the God or of Jesus the Man is interesting to less and less rational people in the world today and there is nothing amiss with that. It is a good sign. The story of truth, of god, and of the divine in us, should not be fixed in the special past but in the special present - in the moment that is. When we do our historical homework we find out that the story of Jesus is no more dramatic and miraculous, no more pathetic and majestic than the story of other masters of knowledge and Servants of Truth.
Who dares declare that the story of Jesus Christ is any more captivating or inspiring than that of Imhotep, Apollonius of Tyana, Siddhartha, Milerepa, Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, Ramana Maharishi, Sarmad, or of Jiddu Krishnamurti? And, dare we ask how many people in today’s manic world care a jot for these bright lights of past times?
For every Christ and Muhammad, there are a thousand other god-men, born of virgins, imbued with the deepest wisdom and enamored with a divine mission. India is filled with like men and women today. So let it be known that there is nothing truly unique about the life of Jesus Christ.
The only thing which is unique about the Christ is the lengths to which the Cult, which has adopted his name, has gone to suppress the truth and to foist their unsustainable sectarian beliefs upon the world.
The Christian zeal for brutal oppression and its violent conversion of non-believers, its penchant for false promises, its expertise with deception, and its ability to spawn the vilest of human-monsters, are what make it unique in the world.

Vant...Vant...Vant....
I'll accept your apology after this post, that is if you are big enough a person to admit you were wrong and give one in the first place?
Take a deep breath, relax for a moment, Vant, then go back and read my post. You will find that those were not my comments, but the comments of Adolf Hitler. If you follow the thread from the begining, you will see where Sunshine61 made a comment about bible bashers being Nazis. This was followed by Sahri pointing out that many of the Nazi were in fact christian. I posted words from the very leader of Nazism, Adolf Hitler, demonstrating that he was a christian, and gave a source. Let me restate that, since there is a little reading comprehension problem on your part Vant....those were the words of Adolf Hitler not mine, Ok? There was no need to insult or make false accusations against me on your part, unless it is your way of demonstrating christian behavior. If that is the case, can there be any wonder as to why people bash. Maybe I should go to your monastary, Vant, If others there are like you, that is, quick to judge and accuse falsely, I might be able to help them and yourself towards a more compassionate and loving way of life.
Peace be with you Vant

91st- Please accept my apology. It was not apparent to me because the quotation marks were somewhat confusing. It, understandably, pushed my buttons since i thought the quotes were your sentiments and that only escalated in my pushing your buttons.
It unfortunately brought out some dart throwing in both of us. Again, i deeply regret the misunderstanding and only wish the best for you.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done
Nothin' you can sing that can't be sung
Nothin' you can say, but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy...
Nothin' you can make that can't be made
No one you can save that can't be saved
Nothin' you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time
It's easy...
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need (x2)

Somehow I've manage to go through life weedless? Unless you count some of the concerts I went to back in the 70's. The air was so filled with smoke you couldn't help breathing it.

You three guys are too much!!!!LOL Thanks for the memories and the "thats how come I didnt get it" realization.
I never did drugs...I know i know...I should have been the poster child for "This is your brain...(PIC of me)---This is your brain on drugs, but ...wrong!!!!LOL
Im fond of the Beatles songs that Skip+Joe post but I dont get the connection like (oh yeah man...cool) Im into the..."warm and fuzzy"(dont tell Jewelz) songs the Beatles sang.
I did however drink LOTS of Boonsfarm as a teen, which eventually lead me to be the "raging functional alcoholic"that i was, for most of my life.ahhhh, yet again another "poster child" moment. No more "drinky" for me!!!LOL
9th and Vant Im glad you 2 cleared things up.I was gonna say something to vant cause I kinda thought he had made the Nazi mistake too,but I didnt. Peace
