Normally I would say NO because it gives off the impression your "easy" but I've been in this situation and it turned out really good. Alcohol always "breaks the tension" and chances are if the two of you are out drinking and all the chemistry is there it will happen. I would make sure the chemisty is there other wise your one night stand will never develop into a relationship.

I have...but I'm pretty sure it was a mistake,even though he took me out again. After that he wouldn't answer my calls or emails. I didn't go psyco on him or anything and stopped after 2 calls and e-mails,just wanted to make sure he recieved them.There was a time I would have hunted him down and said but I'm older now and for some reason my feelins get hurt easier.

Ok my two cents:
As far as I'm concerned, this internet dating world has an entirely different "rule book". (and lets save the fact that there should be no rules for another topic - I'll get back to ya with THAT one!) The basic scenario on a "first meet" is usually already built-up up by a myriad of former communications (typically - especially for those who are truly looking for a real relationship in the long run). You have emailed, you have chatted, you have talked on the phone - maybe you had a video conference or two... in theory - you have already had several "virtual dates", so the "first date" has sort-of already happened. In most cases, you have communicated for a couple of weeks or even longer, so that "no sex rule" doesn't apply. If you have found a connection with someone that supercedes any connection you have had with anyone else you have communicated with, and you take the next step and actually meet - if the chemistry is there, why would you want to shut it down? If someone is really that hung up on a stigma like "no sex on the first date" or "only easy girls f**k on the first date"... they are actually showing off their insecurity AND immaturity. It is 2008 people - virtual dating IS your segway to that opportunity to find out if the chemistry really IS there... why drag it out if it may not be?!?! If it's there the first time you meet, it's gonna only get better - TRUST ME!
