I HAVE A SIX YEAR OLD THAT I ADORE IF I NEVER GOT ANOTHER DATE THAT WOULD BE FINE BECAUSE HE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AND WOULDNT CHANGE THAT FOR THE WORLD! ITS NOT A TURN OFF I WOULD LOVE TO DATE SOMEONE WITH A SIX YEAR OLD.

YES, being divorced with children is hard for children unless they are being abused.
NO, It is not a turn off for most women.

Sounds to me that the majority on this thread do not believe it's a "turn off" or a "bad thing". And yes, I too, think that it should not interfere with your "dating". The bringing her home thing...is another thread entirely.

What a way to use your children and come across as more of a dumbass and loser. I'd run for the hills.

just because they are chick magnets doesnt mean that i use my girls to pick up women - you made an assumption. chick magnets - women start talking to me when im with my girls - im usually too busy playing and dont have time to worry about finding my future soul mate..... my children come first and they get all my attention when they are with me.

Ok I see now.
It's just so odd....
At my age, having kids is a turnoff.
As you get older, it becomes less and less important.
I have a few guy friends who are my age who already have a kid or two (scary, eh?) and they complain that girls won't date them because they have a kid. I can't say I really blame the girls. At our young ages, we really can't handle that type of baggage. It's going to take a few years before we start to get over it.

kids just want to be loved and accetpted by grown ups - i dont really feel like they are baggage. the parents however... some can deffinitely be baggage
