I'm looking for that woman who isn't afraid to check the oil in the car. I do however tend to the vehicle maintenance. I just want her to "be able" to do it if I get behind.
I want to find someone that i can work with to obtain the goals we each have in life. Someone to work with me not against me. and vise-a-versa.
I want to come in from work or running errands and be able to give her a hug and kiss with-out being told she is to busy doing dishes, cooking dinner, scrap-booking or what ever she is working on. This isn't meant to sound sexist. I can cook dinner and do laundry too. (Its just a metaphor.) I just want to come home and appreciate her and be appreciated in return. This doesn't mean I'm clingy or needy. We all need our space from time to time.
I also don't want someone who is exactly like minded either. We all need a different perspective and something different brought to the table of discussion.
I'm looking for her to see past any faults she may find in me, as I will look past any of hers. I want to still be sitting with her on the proverbial "porch swing" holding hands when I'm seventy.
I try to be an easy going and fairly laid back individual. I try to be a well rounded individual, culturally speaking.
I still cook with the skills I attained in the days that I ran the kitchen at a local restaurant. So when i present a dish it is "dressed" like you could be sitting in an actual restaurant.
I like all genera's of music and am trying to learn the guitar. I have no disillusions of being a rock star. I just want to learn it for me.
Camping, canoing, and hiking are among the activities I enjoy outdoors.
I love any movie that has a well written story. If theres a "slam you in the teeth" plot twist at the end, even better.
This is not the limit of my enjoyment just a glimpse.
I've been told to put "What i'm looking for in here". Well, I know I DON'T want her to come out of a mold,so the best i can say is--- I WILL KNOW HER WHEN I FIND HER!
