I have had women ask first thing out their mouth what I did for a living and thought nothing of it. However also have had other women ask same question and it set off red flags and loud alarms all over the place. It truly isn't the best first question to ask someone. I really do think that most of the time she is just trying to get a conversation started, nothing more nothing less.
